Fantastic scenery and wonderful to see you out on the water with Nutshell again. At 10:23 I was expecting you to comment on your best hiking boots..... the olde flip flops! All the best Richard

Feels like we're all going on a winter holiday. Thanks for the video folks. After seeing our friends dinghy take an excursion all on its own up Pancake Creek we put two lines on now. Chasing a dinghy up a creek when you draw 2.1 metres presents some problems.

Hay guys looking fwd to your travels and adventures with your tow point bolt some stainless steel plate either side of it with a hole where your shackle goes through so it does not wear through the aloy tow point then splice some tow rope the same size from the point on the bow with slack in it back in to the main tow rope this method stops chafe and if the shackle is gone for what eva reason your tender will have a back up secure point have a look at the dories on fishing boats hope this helps you out MV Joy-C

I like the idea of the stainless plate to stop wear. I will do that. I already have a dynema safety line attached to a different tow point. I will check out a few dories here in Cooktown. Cheers

Good news at the end. I thought that you might have popped oved in Peanut to see if you could help. Hope to see you back out on open water again soon doing some real sailing. Lee rail under and all that.

I thought about taking Peanut over but the waves were short and sharp and they hadn’t called for help on the radio. It’s a hard call sometimes.

the trouble with shallow draft boats is, they just tempt you to go somewhere more shallow my Pearson 365 is 4'5" but there is always somewhere shallower
