Thank you for visiting the Philippines. We know that our country has problems, especially when it comes to lack of infrastructure/underdeveloped transportation system, which makes it difficult for tourists to get around. We try our best to improve. Our country is very beautiful when it comes to natural/raw landscapes and scenery. We love our country. We also love our neighbors/asean as well.

Great to see 2 of my most respected KZitem vloggers meet unexpectedly in a beautiful foreign country! What a small world this is! 😊👍
I'm glad to know that you found a boy friend while travelling here in the Philippines. Please also understand that our country has 7640 islands so the transportation here is kinda difficult. Stay safe always!

I am Thai I love PH and also love people there cuz I have many filipino friends who are working in Thailand . They are nice and friendly and they told me about the problem of traffic and transportation in PH long time ago. hope the PH goverment will pay attention about the issue for PH people and tourists because I wanna go there someday

I'm not a Thai person but I really enjoyed your videos because it is funny and entertaining. It's more interesting when you have a travelling companion like this Korean guy who is quite friendly towards you. I can also learn Thai from your videos because it has English subtitles.

My sympathy goes for these 2 travelers. Seriously, traveling across my province of Cebu, a supossedly premier province of the Phillippines, is quite a stressful experience. With narrow roads, traffic, chaos, heat and hagglers everywhere, it is far from being a pleasant experience for anyone, more so for tourists. The govt should build an expressway or commuter train to major destinations across the province if it wants to be considered a premier tourist destination.

Indeed. Ive been to most ASEAN countries like Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam and their infrastructures for tourist travelers are generally better than Philippines. It's sad but true. I really hope our country will continue investing on our infrastructures like world class road systems, ferry terminals, railway network, bus terminals, and airports. Sana pati yun mga local accommodations natin ay standardized din by the government to meet the world standard. The Philippines still has a long way to go to achieve a world class tourist destination!
I am enjoying watching your videos, and I already subscribed. Thank you for visiting our country and I appreciate that you are consistent in showing gratitude to the people who helped you by saying THANK YOU. I really laughed so hard when you didn't believe the owners/caretakers of the hostels in Hagnaya that the rooms they offer cost 1000php/400php per night. Instead, you insisted on what the other people say about the price, the 650 and 300. Take note, they are not affiliated there and they are not updated if there's a price increase. Room rates depend on the season (peak or low) and inflation. Also, I hope you will take the following reminders constructively: 1. HAGGLING is okay but PLEASE MAKE IT REASONABLE. As much as you want to save, remember that these people need to make a living too. Business without a profit will lead to bankruptcy. 2. If you will decline a certain offer because you find it expensive, avoid saying 'NOOOOO!". You might offend someone, remember in Moalboal when you were haggling and asking the tricycle driver to make it 40-40? The driver got irritated and told you guys "JUST WALK" because you were insisting that it's only 3 km. 3. Commuting is really challenging. In provinces, please don't expect that there's always a direct bus going to the destination of your choice. Locals from the South would not actually go to the North on a daily basis. and vice versa. It is indeed difficult to use public transportation but you are still very lucky because Filipinos are always ready to help you. Enjoy your travel and keep safe. Looking forward to your next video.
to avoid traffic and heat, you should have left cebu city and ride bus at dawn like about 1am so you will arrive at hagnaya at 5am just on time for the 1st trip of ferry and witness sunrise while on sail which is beautiful.. just a suggestion coz that's the ideal time i think to avoid tiring travel coz it's lesser traffic at dawn.. never been there but planning to go next year..
it would be much pleasant if there's no comparison that had been made cause geographically speaking, Philippines got the worst among all the countries in ASEAN.

@@dantesalazar7805 Don't say that if Angeles is still in PH. We are not talking about it doesn't mean we don't know about what happen there.
Unlike Thailand, or even Indonesia, the Philippines is composed of much smaller separate islands. Which is why transportation common in Thailand like trains, or regular long-distance buses are impossible to implement. That said, I have no idea why Cebu still has two-lane highways. Almost every other province have four-lane or six-lane highways. Even crazier is that Cebu is one of the richest islands in the Philippines, in terms of tax revenue.

Because all the taxes in our country goes to the Northern part of the Philippines yes Cebu is rich but we dont have many projects here like infrastructure and many more unlike in Metro Manila.

@@lilymakinano97 We all know many corrupt officials in Cebu...imagine you are the richest province in the Philippines but cannot improve the roads and infrastructure and traffic is horrible. You need to have PPP just to build bridges and lack expressways when your province has so much money only going to your corrupt provincial and local officials. There are so many businesses in Cebu but the infrastructure is inferior, only one strong typhoon and the entire province is dead. Imagine more Typhoon Odette and business already affected. Cebu is a beautiful province but mismanaged by officials who are all corrupt political dynasties.
Sawasdee Khab!!! Thank you for visiting the Philippines especially our island, Cebu!! I hope you are enjoying your stay and I am sorry about the traffic here and transportation difficulty here. If you go to Bantayan, I suggest you also go to Virgin Island. Have fun na khab!!!
I’m a filipino but I’ve learn a lot from your travel here in the philippines specially in cebu city there’s a lot pros and cons when it comes to transportation fares and hotel fares. I think I’m ready to travel cebu now. Thank you. And stay safe 😘
I think you must try to visit the Northern Luzon/Philippines to experience colder climate like in Cordilleras Highlands , (example is Baguio City, La Trinidad, Benguet, Sagada and Bontoc, Mt. Province, Banaue, Ifugao and more)
I love your vlogs. Thanks for visiting the Philippines. My family is from Bantayan and next year we are planning to go there during te long holiday. Your vlogs reminds me of my solo tour when I was in Bangkok and I rode a non aircon train to Ayuthaya. So hot but the experience was amazing. Cheers

I love the take away messages at the last part, usually people around the area can say the exact prices becoz some establishments just renovate time to time or sp, so expect higher. Unlike in other countries where they forced you to stay even place is not good, so it's better still.
Inspired me to do bagpacker hostel stay soon 😆 I mean, I'm an introvert, I'm not sure how will I blend in, the anxiety too when you leave important things such as laptop or camera. But makes sense since you don't need to spend much on a fancy hotel when you're just be sleeping there. Safe travels bro
In my humble opinion, I felt like I was watching a movie whenever I watch this vlog. Every episode, there are developments on these vloggers like character development. Maybe it's just me
I just lived in the island west of Cebu in Negros Island. Cebu city's problem is really their not so good road infrastructure and transportation, it's very messy. For an island that is generating more income, that issue should be addressed. But if you want to visit Negros Island soon we also have a lot of beautiful places but somehow underrated and less popular and in my opinion our road and terminal infrastructure is better than Cebu Island. ☺
The Cebu Provincial Government is currently negotiating with Cebu City Government for a Integrated Bus and Seaport terminal in SRP, once finished with will serve both North and South Cebu commuters.

Continue what you’re doing. At least you are exposing the realities of the local, and how terrible the government handled things. I’m not ashamed how disappointing your experience was. Our government will not do anything unless an influencer like you expose the realities. Your experience will also show how the different local government units make things easy or difficult for the tourists and locals. Your experience is also a wake-up call for your country if you really want democracy. This is the result of democracy, your experience may vary on the quality of the local government unit and the support of the national government. Thank you for visiting, and enjoy the roller coaster ride of your backpacking experience in our country. 🇵🇭
