Transient Wonderboy This is an exceedingly kind thought. KZitem does allow this, but we've opted to keep the show completely non-profit as a service to singers worldwide. However, you may be interested in purchasing the VLTTW Vocal Course. This is a way to support the work that we do at New York Vocal Coaching and also you get a product that hopefully benefits your voice greatly! So, that's something to consider! In any case, thank you so much for your immense kindness!

Hey man, I just found your channel a few days ago and I just wanted to say that I love your videos! You're so enthusiastic and informative, you make it fun to watch. This video in particular has really helped me out a lot. I've always felt insecure about my speaking voice. People have said it's strange since I was a kid. I didn't know what they were talking about until I heard my voice recorded, and I couldn't believe what I heard. I used a lot vocal fry, a southern accent, and I was hard to understand. I hated it! I've worked on my voice since then, and I've come a long way. I still unintentionally use a lot of vocal fry when I'm trying to speak quietly. Still haven't figured that out yet.. But overall, this video has helped me speak more clearly and be more confident. So I just wanted to say thanks!

I used to have a deeper speaking voice BEFORE getting necessary tonsillectomy surgery from chronic tonsilitis. Now when I speak it's harder to project in a low voice, so I unmeaningly speak higher so people can hear me. I want to be able to speak in my natural register so people can hear me, and so I don't strain speaking too high. Could this be corrected by vocal lessons, or would I need to see a speech specialist? My voice seems fatigued often and can get hoarse. Thank you!

I never realised how lazy my speaking voice was until I watched this Video. I am a female and I have such a low voice because i just let myself fall into that voice but that seems to be very common amongst Australians, I am now trying to speak at a higher pitch and I can already feel the difference!! Question though, is it normal to have your nose close up when you sing? i feel lile it is limiting my range drastically because i can hum with a larger range than what i can sing.

@NewYorkVocalCoaching
7 жыл бұрын
Some people are naturally louder than others, but you can probably be louder than you realize with proper training. It shouldn't feel forced. I'd say "allow" yourself to be louder, rather then "trying" to be louder. I bet you were louder as a child. Perhaps you forgot how. -NYVC
