Great in-depth stuff Will, some excellent tips & tricks in there. I'm thoroughly enjoying this build but, I think, I may be "easier to please" than yourself. This is particularly true with the bits that will hardly be seen, if at all. Thanks for sharing your skills with us mere mortals. Merry Christmas,🍻🎅🥂 Dougie.

I was surprised you didn’t talk about UV glue as a filler, I know you have in the past and you got me hooked on using it when I need something clear.

Will, another seam filler l like to use on an “unprimed” surface is stretched sprue from the SAME kit in the seam with Tamiya thin as the bonding agent. Works great for me, but I do use other fillers you have mentioned, depending on the circumstance. I also go (probably too far) with sanding, going up to 12000 grit, again depending on where the seam is. Have to play with the stretching to get the right diameter, but sprue is cheap.

I am confused by the sealing step. I understood when you mentioned Stynljiz since the Acrylic protects against re-activation by a lacquer color coat. But why does Alclad 309 form a barrier?? If it's also lacquer, won't it potentially be re-activated by a lacquer color coat?

Great series! Can't wait for part 5 :) I have a question I wanted to ask you from quite some time: How do you decide how much level of detail to do on a certain project? How do you know where to stop further detailing a certain part of the model?
