The blonde is Tom Petty. The other one singing is Jeff Lynne, lead of ELO and also a very successful producer and fellow traveling Wilbury. Steve Winwood is on keyboards. He's a star in his own right. The young man behind Tom Petty is Dhani Harrison, George's son. This was a memorial for his dad. Petty and Lynne were close to George and were basically uncles to Dhani, you can see a couple of looks between Tom and Dhani. Steve Winwood started as the lead singer for the Spencer Davis Group…at age 16. Then he founded Traffic, which was a great band, with Dave Mason. After a few years, Mason left for a solo career (his solo work is also OUTSTANDING) and Traffic broke up. Steve then got together with Eric Clapton (who had been with Cream, who broke up because the other two guys were fighting all the time), and they founded Blind Faith. But after one record and a tour, Clapton pulled the plug, because things were getting too high profile, and he still needed time to decompress after Cream. (Also because of his personal life; Clapton was falling in love with George Harrison's wife, Patty. [They later married.]) So Winwood re-formed Traffic without Mason, and they went on for several years. (Their most-famous songs are from this period.). Eventually they broke up again, although they would occasionally re-form from special occasions, such as the Woodstock 25th Anniversary concert in 1994. Then Steve had a solo career, which fizzled out for a while…before he had a HUGE comeback in the late 1980s. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame with Traffic at this same ceremony. It's also arguable he should be in as a solo artist as well, but that hasn't happened yet. (Had Blind Faith stayed together for longer than one album, he might be in the Hall THREE times.)

So glad you guys finally saw this. All phenomenal artists, each and every one. Jeff Lynne (the other lead singer that is not Tom Petty) was the lead singer for Electric Light Orchestra (ELO). Some of their most popular songs are "Evil Woman," "Don't Bring Me Down," and "Telephone Line." They have so much great music, the list would make an encyclopedia. Steve Winwood has a lot of good music, too. Some of his most popular songs are "Higher Love," "Finer Things," "Back in the High Life," and "Valerie." They do lyric vids now because a lot of official music videos tend to be their own thing separate from the song itself....leading to reactors reacting more to the visuals than the actual music. Live performances generally dont have this problem which is why it works here. Just the artists and their music
@jperryhal

@@razorfett147 yeah, I think many music videos have their own themes which is what makes them interesting when combined with the music or lyrics. Jeff Lynne is the other person singing with Tom Petty here. He was the lead singer for Electric Light Orchestra (aka E.L.O.). Lynne and Tom Petty were also in the band The Traveling Wilburys alongside George Harrison, who wrote the song "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" back when he was with The Beatles.
