I forgot about this method... Guess I'm going to have to try it on Eric's old truck lol.

Could you guys go into a little more detail of how much to lift the wheels with a crane/jack and what exactly to measure? I'm almost finished with my build and this a complete mystery to me.

You need to lift the tires until they hit the fenders or until they are exactly where you want them. Remember compression is what your after. Your measuring for bump stops and shocks. Remember your only measuring compression. Droop doesn’t matter as much in a leaf spring suspension. It’s up to you of where to measure. Depends on the style of bump stop and where you want it located. It might be easier if you hit up uinta garage on Instagram. Then you could ask specific questions. I am sure we can help you out.

Eric & Mike, informative thanks. So I installed B52 hangars in front and dip shackles on rear but I’m not really looking to go out on trail I guess I just did for softer ride. Is there a general length for everyday daily driver, any thoughts?

With a softer ride the suspension will have the ability to move more even just over the road. We have a few trucks with the B52 set up and would like to be safe and say at minimum use a 10” travel shock. 12” would be better. Offroad we have been maxing out 14” travel shocks just for reference.
