I'm a shred guitar guy who started emulating Randy Rhoads and Eddie Van Halen. But Clapton was my first real transcribing influence. With all of what is written about Clapton's soloing abilities, VERY few people recognize Clapton's rhythm time feel. He's GROOVING right on the grid, for this track. Just a superb example of Clapton's ability to turn on a dime into ANY style. Over the years, I've turned my back on Eric's music for more country oriented material ( such as Steve Morse, Brent Mason and Johnny Hiland ). But seeing tracks like this inspires me to remember that Clapton will always be a superb musician. Thanks for the drop! I've subscribed to see more. Cheers!

@@EthanCruz95 and one more thing that you might be interested, in 1970 when Clapton put out his solo album he switched from playing Gibsons to Fender Strats I was playing a Les Paul knockoff from Japan in my goofy little band and dropped it so I went to get another guitar and I found a Strat in a pawnshop for $150 fast-forward to last week when I finally had officially appraised it turned out it was a 1954 Stratocaster that was appraised at $125,000…all because of Eric…😊

Absolutely adore this number. It's fascinating how adding augmented chords to a simple song like this, can bring such a unique flavor to the audience. Thanks a ton!

Wow, a very good rhythm section and a legendary guitarist will make the Albert Hall dance and groove. Soldano amps cut through the steady rhythm like a knife on ice.
