Prince's most popular guitar solo is from the RRHOF performance of While My Guitar Gently Weeps, which Clapton played on the original Beatles recording. People keep saying Prince never got his props for guitar playing. The fact that Clapton covers this song and acknowledges Prince's guitar playing is validation enough.

Saluti!✌🏻

Always conflicted when I hear EC pay tribute to Prince. Love ECs music and I believe it is genuine love for Prince and EC is possibly a different person now but whilst we forgive, can't forget the hurt he caused an adoring crowd of people of colour in 1976 in Birmingham. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rock_Against_Racism However, this brought about the birth of RAR and amazing groups like The Beat and Steel Pulse who still continue today in other forms. That is part of ECs journey and hope he continues to advocate for music which is healing and is Love. As for Prince, there will never ever be another like him 💜
