Meet Eric and Dmitry in December in Orlando at Roofing Process Conference: roofconference.com

Keith Kalfas here. What a great interview. Eric has been one of my best friends since we were teenagers living in a trailer park. Recently I was talking with our mutual friend Cris Sovel who owns a very successful tree service company. Cris and I both agreed that we are both where we are today, hugely because of Eric's mentorship. I know Eric Reno and I can testify to everyone here in the comments. Eric is the real deal. He's basically willing to have difficult conversations and jump head first Into scary situations where a lot of other people won't. He's also extremely intuitive and has the nose of a bloodhound. If you ever meet Eric in person, don't ever try to bullshit him. Lol. Eric is also brilliant when it comes to bottom line thinking. So unless your idea is a real banger. Don't bother telling him about it unless you want to get your feelings hurt. Because Eric can spot a turd in 2 seconds. Lol. But he's also the first guy who will believe in you and hold you to a higher standard.

That’s an awesome video probably one of the best I’ve ever seen on roofing insights. Eric Reno has my respect and always will. He’s completely right it’s all about Hard work, being smart and being willing to do it all when you have to. The unfortunate thing is this young generation of people coming up they just don’t have it. You can say what you want but they don’t. They’re a bunch a lazy ass disrespectful that think society owes them something. I will say that anyone in business has a right to fulfill whatever their goals are, weather it’s a fancy car, boat, plane or trains; but they should always make sure they pay their employees and bills and not skip out on people. My opinion is that Eric has chosen the best use of the fruit of his labor and that’s building true wealth having income producing residual income. His principals and the understanding of the complete process has put him in the forefront of success. Most any business these days serving the public with a service that has extensive cost of goods sold requires more administrative personnel when you get into the larger 8 figure business models.

Eric, first, thank you for your insights and agreeing with the interview with Dmitry. We appreciate hearing about your journey. I have a couple of questions. First, how do you handle the followups with your office staff? Can you give me the dialect with the customer? This is something I would like to personally handle for our business, but would like direction on how to go about the followups. Secondly, could you offer your agenda for your monthly meetings? What points do you cover and how long do they usually last? Are you looking for feedback from your team at those meetings? Thanks again for allowing us inside Paramount!

Thanks for the great questions, I would actually like to cover these in videos if you don’t mind waiting a few. I’ll try to do the follow up questions this week, film the meeting on Monday and then have to edit it so it will take time but I think it will be worth it. Thank you.

Love hearing what Eric has to say about his journey. One question I had was Eric mentioned he makes "surgeon money" now and why jump to 10 million a year. What does this mean? We have amongst the highest paid surgeons in the country and they max out at about $600k a year unless your in retail cosmetic plastic surgery field. Eric, do you max out at the number?

Currently im seeing myself ink the most deals I have in years (~3 a week) but I find I have the hardest time overcoming a specific type of customer. Question for Eric Reno: What would be your process for handling a customer who understands they have claimable damage but thinks its in their best interest to just do it all themselves and just shop for bids, acting stubborn to the possibility that we can actually help service the claims process?
@roofolutionericreno4531
2 жыл бұрын
Shits tough, I feel like ppl that get insurance money are way more likely to try and stiff you an way they can then ppl that pay retail price. I’m advice is walk away and knock on the neighbors house. For me as soon as I get a feeling you will screw me I’ll just walk away, if you have to talk them in to signing an insurance agreement imaging collecting the depreciation let alone the deductible. There is plenty of houses out there.

Excellent video! Very grateful. I do have a question for Eric. You said you get to work most days at around 10 AM or so. Are you still handling clients? What do you do with the phone calls that come in before 10 AM? Are you at the gym until 10 AM? I ask these things because I love morning workouts as well. But in order to get a morning workout done, I am up every morning at 4 AM. But that means I normally only get about 3 to 5 hours of sleep per night. That has to change. A little more discussion on exactly how you fit in the morning workout, and how you justify it to clients and/or employees would be awesome for me. Side question: how long is your workout, from arrival at the gym to leaving the gym?
@roofolutionericreno4531
2 жыл бұрын
Awesome questions prior to 10 I talk to my team if needed. I built a gym in my basement so I workout 8 to 930 shoot for 5 days a week Prior to that I hang out and play with my 3 yr old she’s up by 6 then we take my 15 yr old to school then I come back eat and work out. I also have a 6 year old my wife takes to school at 8 so we are both needed and I love doing it, they will only be this age once. I tried the 4 and 5am stuff shits for the birds lol

He doesn’t have that mindset at all. He has the hustle and work ethic, but not the plan or mindset. He would have a much larger company and much larger real estate holdings (using proper leverage) if that were his goal. I don’t think he understands how to, or wants to.

@@eag8999 I’m just kind of reaching but obtaining a 25mil real estate portfolio over a few years is pretty impressive. That can compound just like dividends into more properties and larger ones at that. 20 years time he can grow that to half a bil.
