Imagine not realizing that literally every single sports media company uses social media to draw their narratives up in 2024 ☠️ They literally have a team of people who’s only job is to scroll through social media, and find the trending topics. It’s a consumer issue. If fans didn’t push these narratives online, ESPN and other media wouldn’t talk about them. But you can’t blame a company that only cares about money for giving the fans what they want. They’re gonna cater to the masses every single time. Why do you think they bring on talking heads that constantly talk about Lebron? Because they’ve seen all the Lebron haters online constantly getting in to it with Lebrons fanbase and they know simply mentioning Lebron will spark emotions and therefore reactions/opinions/comments. So they bring on a few talking heads who like Lebron and a few more who hate him and they feed the fans the BS they love to eat.

The prob with prior years past is guys would stand around and watch jt/jb just go to work late in games. Now we have a legit 1-5 who can close out for us. I think Boston getting rid of Smart, allowing White to have a bigger role, and adding Jrue was the biggest difference. So many times I would see them try to feed the ball to Marcus late in games, and the result would be a huge disaster. Their late game execution is so much better now because Jrue and White are always in control. Smart is a great defender but a lot of his defensive plays comes from 50/50 block charge calls, whereas Jrue will just lock you up. White and Jrue are also just better scorers than Smart, so it adds a lot to their team.

The amount of hate Tatum, Luka, and Jokic get is just insane. I used to believe most media are ignorant not by choice, now I realize it’s just pure stupidity and jealousy. We literally have a repeat in history with Tatum and Luka being the KD and LeBron for this era, the “old heads” in my life are constantly telling me they are preparing for a Magic and Bird rivalry in terms of “play style”. This I can understand considering they’ve only been back as viewers of the product for about 5 years, thanks to the LeBum Era ending sooner rather than later. They treat Jokic like he’s other worldly which I just love 😂 My old man even said this team reminds him of the 83-84 Celtics, which I had to Google. He’s right in terms of talent, I believe spot on. Tatum and Brown are kind of a LeBron/Wade or Shaq/Kobe duo instead of a Jordan/Pippen, it’s not a true Batman and Robin case. Some nights it’s Jayson going off, others it’s Jaylen. It’s a Batman & Superman pairing, which feels great since I’ve watched JT since high school and Jaylen was not who I wanted but now feel blessed with 😂 Read my essay, I could care less 😂😂😂 Take care, God bless! 🙏

The Celtics made it to the finals That's the exact point. What ESPN Should do is not to compare players and assume their true intentions for no reason. That's just totally Ruining the vibe.

I think what sums up perfectly about ESPN and their bad NBA takes is the Western conference finals teams right now Dallas Mavericks and the Minnesota Timberwolves when they said that Kyrie Irving and Luka doncic trade was not going to work because they're too ball dominant players also throw in everyone dismantle the Timberwolves trade for gobert that they gave up too much and look at them now both teams are in the Western conference finals take that ESPN so-called analyst

I’m so glad Brad Steven doesn’t watch ESPN’s trash! He gave Jaylen the leagues biggest contract, put pieces around the Js and knows Jayson about to get an even larger contract! Ignore the noise…and Perk is a SELLOUT

What's really insane is Celtics management literally went to Tatum and directly asked him if he wanted to play with Brown before they resigned Brown. Tatum is the one who said yes to that. So yeah, the two aren't only teammates, they are literal friends outside the court, hanging out beyond basketball. Sports pundits are ridiculous.

ESPN has been doing this for years to the Celtics. They literally warned teams to not trade with Boston after the Kyrie Irving trade and then proceeded to tear down Irving and Hayward for not winning every game they played.

Lmao as if Tatum cares at all about ECF MVP. It’s cool to win it sure, but ultimately nobody ever boasts about winning a conference finals MVP. I hope ESPN keeps hating and the Celtics take it personally and come out with a vengeance.

Espn loves creating drama. Not only with the sports that they cover but also with the people covering the sports. It's turned into soap opera for males who like gossip and drama.

I have watched Tatum and Brown for years and have not seen any issues between them on the court whatsoever. The fact is, both players have improved their overall game this season and will continue to get better the next couple of years. That is a scary thought for those who don't want to see the Celtics succeed.

Celtics fan here. I was at ECF game 7 last year and was obviously super upset with the result. For about an hour after it, I said they had to drop JB or JT. I then drank like a fish at a bar and got all those stupid ideas out of my head. Uncut you too right about the media, they all a bunch of gossips that wanna start controversy for the sake of entertainment.

great video my dude! espn has always been a joke so I don't really follow their coverage, however I used to really listen to Barkley's analysis and I used to think he was pretty solid. he has been really off with his celtics comments and you're right, he's stuck on the past celtics teams. I think overall all these "analysts" are bored of the celtics bcos this year there's no drama and we've been flat out dominant and no one else has been close, so they either just make things up (espn) or just say the same inaccurate shit over and over (tnt).
