These ideas are so helpful! I never would have thought to use a needle minder to hold extra cloth out of the way. My extra cloth always looks pretty worn by the time I am finished with a project and this is a great way to keep everything nice!

A lot of other needle minders don't have strong enough magnets to manage it (or cheap out by putting a washer on the back instead of a second magnet), so it's nice that the CCS ones are strong enough!

Over a hoop, I believe it would. Probably not if you use a QSnap. It opens up to a bit over an inch I think. I've been known to clip it to my pint instead of to my stitch on occasion.
@SWEETDFAN17
Жыл бұрын
@@SonovaStitch thank you for responding! I do use a QSnap. What do you mean in the comment about pint? Is the lamp base magnetic so it can be placed on a needle minder?
@SonovaStitch
Жыл бұрын
The particular one I use does have a magnet on the back of it, yes! I have just clipped it to the rim of my glass while working in the dark western bar I mentioned to create a small, stationary pool of light.

Thank you so much for replying! I'm going to look into getting one! The chopstick hack makes me nervous. I do it too though. However, last month I was eating a piece of chocolate not near my project. I was still chewing it when I got to my project, and I sneezed so hard, a piece of chocolate landed on my fabric! Thankfully it washed out as it was right in the middle of the pattern.
