This is how the song was meant to be sung. Annie's soft and soulful voice channeling all of her emotions with each word...man what a powerful rendition of the song I grew up listening to. Dave is just awesome on the guitar as well. A perfect team!

Isn't it great when someone puts more emphasis on the song than their voice? Not singing scales but singing the song. None of them today sing like Annie. She didn't need to prove her voice. It was self evident!

2:05 wondering how much of the ad-lib section they have rehearsed before... it seems like Dave is just dropping into the rock grove and and Annie brilliantly responds... so in the moment. So much more in it than what you would expect from a pop act. Also ... the end feels like Dave is just letting his genius out, knowing that Annie can follow him anywhere he goes. ... so perfect

1999, New York City. A friend of mine working his butt off and living it up on weekends. Absolutely loved this song. I was studying at the time and he kept me like a brother for the time I stayed with him. RIP Manish Shah. You’re in a better place my friend.

I feel very fortunate to have seen Annie live when opened for Sting. Plus, they did a duet. Kinda funny how many of my friends asked if she sang this song. Then all of them said something like, "Oh, I bet that was awesome to hear live." Love this version with her and Dave.

I was a teenager in the eighties. Always LOVED Eurythmics. I have worked with the 'youth of today' and music comes up in conversation. That they do not know the likes to Eurythmics etc. I worked with one young lad recently who had never heard of Steven Tyler/Aerosmith, Slash/Guns'N'Roses or Dave Grohl/Nirvana/Foo Fighters. They were EDUCATED
