To a ultra marathon running, happily engaged, running a successful business with enough money to finally expunge my record. "You could leave life right now, let that determine how you think and act"- Marcus Areleus "Life is short and anxious for those who forget the past neglect the present and fear the future"-Seneca "We don't rise to the level of our goals we fall to the level of our systems "-James Clear These 3 quotes completely changed how I looked at life and thought of work. Afterall only three things matter in life Who we are-our identity What we do- our careers Who we associate with-our friends, family and significant others. Because only these things are in our control and everything else is up to another universe!

12:00 is exactly what I needed right now, I'm 24 years old living with my grandma and trying to become a successful KZitemr one day, sometimes I feel discouraged when I see other channels as big as mine or even bigger than me making the same type of content but they're 16 years old, I beat myself up saying I should've got into self improvement younger, why did I spend my late teens and early 20s falling into drugs and depression. But I gotta take it day by day and know with hard work and consistency I can achieve my goals no matter what my age is

You're still so young, so young, so young man! In 15 years you'll be glad to have started now. Yes, others have started before, but they may leave sooner, and it takes each of us the time it takes to find our path, it's never wasted. School makes us think we're all living on the same timeline - we aren't, each of us has their own journey.

Love the direction your channel is going. What stuck wth me is sepperating my identity with my wants and goals. Until now I kinda glamorized and idolized my wants and it ended up feeling unattainable. But as you said (or quoted) you can change your actions but not your wants. So I'm doing myself a disservice not striving for the goals and setting a small step each day for the long run. Thanks for the video!

As a 25 year old aspiring actor myself who still lives at home I can definitely relate to that feeling of being a loser. I worked full time in finance but it wasn’t my passion. I felt like a fraud. But after some hard work of creating my own demo reels and own projects, I now have an NYC agent and have been accepted to a highly regarded acting grad school program in California. 18 year old me thought I’d be a movie star by now. Everyone’s journey is different.

I'm 21, and to most people I have my life figured out because I look like I know what I'm doing and I have goals I'm currently working towards, but lately I've been feeling like too much of a loser because at this point I have no money, I've been rejected on every job application I sent, I lost a gig that could have made me lots of money. And I think people don't see how much I make more losses than I make wins which makes me feel like a fraud. I guess I'm trying to say thanks for this video, it came at a time when I needed it. I'll probably read the obstacle is the way again.

I think doing it day by day is one of THE most important pieces of advice nowadays. We all expect progress soon, we all dream about the big juicy goal, and then we all get dissapointed that we haven't made leaps in progress in the first few weeks/days/months (or we become burnt out from too great of a work load). I notice that the "Russian" school is big on this. My piano teacher always said that when practicing, you should never overexert yourself: to ration your energy to allow for day by day progression. It's only on performance day should everything be let out of the tank. Same is with russian weightlifters. Klokov I remember said once that he never understood some people's mentality of seeing each gym day as a battle that they have to overcome. In his mind, it's best to think of it as just another training day, a small addition to the aggregate. Everything is day by day in other words.

What you say about the obstacles inspiring creativity is so so true. I have been making content for two years but when I started I was just shooting lower quality videos on my phone and posting on Tiktok every day. On the other hand I have photographer/videographer friends who have really impressive equipment, and always talk about "I'll start to post- I'll make a channel" but haven't really taken action. It's really encouraging to see where you're coming from, and what it's like to take things day by day. Good luck on your journey!

The journey is the goal this is key to remember. I was a fool when I was younger to think once X goal was achieved, my life would finally begin. Life is happening now and it can end at any moment. The character and life experience you develope while pursuing your true goals is rewarding in itself. Pursuing your true aspirations in life no matter what, even if the desired outcome is not achieved, is rewarding because you are living a life that is true to you. Stay Based

IDEA: Make a 6 episode series with 8 minute episodes - break the 4th wall in each episode & talk about a sponsor for 2 minutes (maybe these scenes in a different color grade to make it clear) - upload here on KZitem whenever you can, we can patiently wait for each episode - get creative with the budget, film the entire thing in a single room if you have to & just have a cast of 2 if you have to - better if the series is related to self-development + comedy sketches + inspiration, things your audience resonates with. Why write emails to others when you have a good platform here to just start?

In my opinion the obstacles are the prerequisites to our final goal, its just our perception and capabilities that makes us look at them like obstacles. For example, now with these gas prices I wanted to switch to motorcycle in summer but I do not know how to ride one so I am going to take the basic rider course and will learn some other things which were not in my mind when I created the goal to ride motorcycle. The BRC is an obstacle but also a prerequisite. Same way for you, having this KZitem channel gave you a lot of skills which you did not have when you were in LA because at that time anything except a big break movie may have felt pointless to you. Now you know yourself better and the actor inside you is more seasoned. Keep up the epic content. Thank you
