I was part of a workshop that one contestant worked at, he sounded normal honestly. You don't really get exposed to a ton of fumes if you everything is properly ventilated, and I have asthma so I'd have an attack if there WERE too many fumes there

Oh lord, this persistent 'the only right medium to quench in is oil' myth has to die already. Your quenching medium is decided by a variety of factors including just straight up preference and water is a perfectly fine quenching medium if you know what you're doing and depending on what you're aiming for.

I never got this, though. I feel like I would rather a blade that isn't that durable but can cut really well than a really durable, dull edge.

You can sharpen that durable blade as sharp as you want, and ideally it'll hold its edge for a while, while you'll have to constantly be sharpening your "sharp" but fragile blade. The idea of blades being "sharper" than others is kind of a misnomer, as generally with enough time and effort you can sharpen anything as sharp as you want.

I always used the case more for decoration as you could swap them out easily. I also had a leather pouch with a bendy plastic transparent front so it could attach to my belt and everyone could see it. Very 90s chic.

@@drclockworks4280you know how some houses have chandeliers, usually a blacksmith makes those. Also there is a sport called Buhurt where people get in knight armor with dull medevial weaponry and fight each other. It’s honestly really fun to watch especially the 100 vs 100 events.

I love how a Nokia is synonymous with durability at this point. Even though most have never even see one. My dad had one. He, ran out over with a forklift several times, dropped it in the toilet, left it on top of the car and had it fly off and be ran over by a car, had it in his hand while he himself got electrocuted. I have it now. The dam thing still turns on and everything. Even if all the buttons are faded completely.

@@BoredTruckn Am in my early 20's. Everyone my age that i know has not only heard of the brand, but held nokia phones at some point. Most of our parents either used Nokia phones or had a drawer in the kitchen where an old one sat unused. Even as kids we joked about how beefy they are compared to other phones, especially when the first iphone and ipod touch came out. The thing is, neither you, nor I can speak for everyone. Clearly, some people have heard of them and some haven't, we shouldn't be trying to speak for everyone, eh?
