Could anyone be surprised? Like, if you study history, the common denominator for war is… human nature, mainly its “I want to DO something” part. There will always be “changes” in Human society, peaceful or not. There will always be new people, that wants new things (Like new territories, new ideology, etc.), all of it based on their society’s past history. It’s “simply” cause-effect… it’s HUMAN NATURE. It’s always been like that. It will always be (Even in a post-human society).

I think World War 3 is rather unlikely due to current demographics. For a large war you need a young population with a high birth rates and people that are motivated to fight in a war, which was the case before World War 1 and 2. Today none of this is the case today, in most of the world you have a rapidly aging population with very low birth rates, and the young men have no interest in fighting in a war. So the wars today will be localized, slow and drag on for a long time. It's still very grim, but humans will fight wars as long as they exist, I'm sure it's programmed into our DNA.

Bukele is not treating non-criminals in an authoritarian manner. He is strictly enforcing a broad set of anti-violence, anti-gang laws that have restored his country. What freedoms have El Salvadorans lost?

It was a very informative video and considering only13 mins of run time, many conflicts could have been missed. But one of the most important that missed out is between 3 nuclear armed countries. In 2019, after an air engagement with Pakistan India revoked the status of UT of Kashmir and Ladakh and further claims the entire Pakistani administered Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan to be part of their territory, followed by China's aggression in Ladakh and casualities of Indian and Chinese soldiers, followed by China claiming the entire Arunachal province of India and parts of Ladakh and Pakistan claiming Entire Indian administered Kashmir, followed by India choosing their alliance with West and becoming part of Quad. All this indicating for a two front war for India in a near future.

Mind you that, also back then, Western European governments actually were knee-deep in several conflicts, just not on their own territories. 20th century hasn't been peaceful at all, and it seems that 21st century will not be peaceful either. We've become way too technologically advanced for our own good.

Mankind will never have complete peace, war is a part of human existence. War is necessary for creating strong civilisations and advances in technology. A lot of our modern technology was developed during WW1 and WW2 as well as a medical drugs and vaccines. Without wars civilisations become stagnent and eventually degenerate, which happens after they become so powerful that they have no real threats. One example is the holy roman empire, which degenerated into hedonism and eventually broke apart. A modern example is Europe today, 200 years ago it dominated the world, and today it's stagnent and didn't create any innovations for a century. It's also dependent on the USA for military protection, however this started to chance recently.

11:45 i’d like to point out that hezbollah is not just in that particular part of the south , hezbollah is pretty much all lebanese shiites , who are far more spread out Also everybody except for a few christian factions ( who don’t make more than 19% of the population ) and maybe some small sunni factions , everybody supports hezbollah ( or at least isn’t against their current actions )
