no one needs to take 10 grams a day perpetually. this would be a waste of money once you have reached maximum absorption within, certainly, a few weeks. After a week or so take a maintenance dose.

@@janetderouin9533It may depend on how much meat you eat? Definitely if you're a vegetarian. I wouldn't take too much daily...3g for your weight should be fine.

Depends. 2-5 grams per day is sufficient to saturate muscle tissue. Some research is indicating that 10 grams per day results in uptake by the brain, and it seems there are probably neurological benefits afforded there. As always, these findings are subject to change as more research is performed.

He exercises daily but doesn’t lift heavy weights. He walks at least a half mile a day . His bones are weak. He had a kidney transplant 2 months ago..should he be taking creatine?

Creatine worked better for me when I quit coffee. Even 1 cup will affect creatine absorption.

If you're a vegetarian...yes. I found 5g brought on too much water weight. I've been doing well with 2.5 to 3g daily.
