Drinking lots of water every day, my hair feels nourished and stronger. Hydration plays a role in hair density. I also combined this with usage of liitlleextraa cooconion herbal hair oil and shampoo. This worked well and my hair fall reduced by a good 95 percent.

I've been using this Cocoonioon shampoo over the last 5 months. Some shampoos make the scalp feeling dry and itchy, but with this shampoo. My hair loss has reduced somewhat. In general, it’s a good product.

I'm a 19 year old girl who lost the majority of her hair by age 10. Though a lot of self confidence is derived from having thick gorgeous hair, it's important to learn how to love yourself even if your hair is gone. It's a long journey, but possible.

Biotin or saw palmetto can work for hair. Saw palmetto actually blocks DHT that causes hair thinning and baldness. A new thing is called Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy. It is proven to bring hair back and it is not expensive compared to hair transplants. It can range from $900 for a single treatment to $2500 for three treatments.

My father and many of my uncles from both sides (father and mother) including elder cousin started losing hair from the age of 22-23 and till 28-30, they all lost significantly. Even one of my cousins 1-year elder to me has already had a hair transplant at 24. I'm 28 now with just 5% hair loss, that must have been about 40% as per other men in my relations and family. The reason I could delay my hair loss, though I felt greying and reduction when I was 18, are: 1. full veg diet + 50% salads ( salads at least thrice a week) 2. exercise, head massage 3. tried not to take the stress 4. 8-hour sleep 5. used drinking water for hair wash. all started when I was 24 in my master's. --------------- see my profile pic in the red t-shirt above, just a year back when I was 27 years.

I started noticing my hair was falling at 15 years old. I played guitar and had long hair. By the time I was 19 it became too noticeable and I needed to cut my hair short. By the time I was 25 I needed to shave my head completely. It is a horrible thing to occur to anyone and I wouldn't want it occur to others. I'm 35 now and refuse to have a child because of how much they may need to suffer because of this deformity.

Well, I'm an Asian male that has had a thick full head of hair my entire life. Having thinning hair was never a thought that'd cross my mind. I'm 27 now and beginning to notice more hair loss after showers and I can see more of my scalp when I part my hair. It doesn't look bad, yet, but I think in due time it'll really take notice. Never thought this would be an issue for me at this age since my parents never really had thinning hair until they were in their 40's-50's. If I find something that helps, I'll update. Wish me luck.

I used Rogaine (minoxidil) for 10 years. I stopped 3 years ago because I was having side effects. Minoxidil was a blood pressure medication and it was discovered a side effect was hair growth. I have normal blood pressure so it took it low and I would faint. It did grow my hair back. Minoxidil really only works for 4 years. After that it let me keep what I had but I was still thinning in the back. Once I stopped I lost everything I had. I even lost the top and I can't edge up my hair anymore. I'm 43 now, it's not the big deal it would have been if I was 23 or even 33. I also tried propecia for a few months. That is a medication, pill form. Huge sexual side effects. Not worth it so I stopped. Took 12 days to leave my system where I could function normal again. I also bought black eye shadow. You can give a shadow to your head. Don't put too much on or you will look like Jermaine Jackson. Dyeing your hair dark also grabs onto the little hairs and does thicken up your hair. But you have to do it twice a week. It becomes a messy chore. Am I self conscious about it now That I don't do anything? Yes. I looked into that head tattooing also. That could go either way. Look up videos on that here on youtube. For African American men and Latino men it looks pretty good. But the white guys look crazy. I wasn't willing to do something so permanent that might end up so wrong that I really stand out. I'm done fighting it. I didn't go to extremes like some guys do. I tried what I could that didn't alter me like plugs or a transplant. Balding is a sign of aging and it's just something you have to accept.

there is nothing you can do to prevent hairloss, you can slow it down and slightly hide it but you cant stop it. moms side of the fam, bald in back. dads side, bald in front...for me. ive been losing my hair since i was 18. brother is a certified cosmetologist and basically just shaved his head because theres nothing you can do. surgery only helps 30% of the time. acceptance is the only key

Like the way this one was produced. Good information and positive reinforcement. It's also very encouraging that the medical world is developing several new advanced treatments to grow hair back. Information about these can be found online.

Something is going on, either something in our food and or our stress levels are increasing hair loss. I know so many people with hairloss and NO family history. Those that do have a family history of hair loss seem to be losing hair faster than the generations that came before them. Just seems odd. Not sure if others have noticed this.

R Feyman I've noticed that in under developed places they have no gmo and fake foods and etc. men have full and thick hairs and lol look at the taliban all of they guys have long thick elegant hair and its super hard to find one that is bald.they eat only like bread, rice and lamb meat and they have full head of hairs. Also yeah many men back in the day had full hair and there weren't as much bald men compared to today. Today it is really common to see a bald person and many nowawadays lose hair super earlier.

my cousin had gone severely bald from the frontal and crown regions of his head by the age of 26 and I can guarantee that it gets really hard to attract women when completely bald. Yes you can compensate for the baldness by building up your body and being a tank but not everyone has the motivation to do so. My cousin is now 30 and hasn't been able to get into a relationship or find a girl for marriage due to his baldness affecting his looks. When he had his hair he looked totally different compared to now. Hair can really make a difference on a guy's overall looks. I'm currently going through male pattern baldness but I have been able to manage it well with certain hair products mainly kiehl's rice and wheat hair volumizing shampoo and it has worked wonders on my hair (not an advert just trying to pass it on incase it helps someone) but eventually I am going to go disgustingly bald in 4-6 years. Life really is unfair for some people Search Results Web results

I'm going through balding now and only 20 going 21. I've been stressing about this for months when I could have used those time spent on searching for methods to cure or hide this mess on studying in college. The only way to grow your hair back is through hair transplantation surgery (Effects of Minoxidil etc don't last forever) and that will have to wait until I've stopped balding completely. To other guys who are experiencing this as well, you're not alone. Confidence is key but I'm no confident guy. Guess I'll wear a wig and pin my hopes on Minoxidil until my balding process stops at what? 40? SIGH.

What are your genetics like and what's your balding status? My dad started balding in his late 20s and has the usual receded hairline pattern. My grandfathers hair basically fell out in his 20s. My uncle's on my mother's side still have full heads of hair. I'm freaking out.
