Will this Evo 4 provide me with a mono output. I ask that because I currently had a Focusrite Solo 3rd Gen and when I go live on FB or just record in Quicktime the sound only comes out the left side. I understand that this happens due to the Focusrite Solo considers input 1 (XLR) to be the left channel and the other input (1/4 inch) to be the right channel. Now this would be an easy fix in post with any DAW because I can process the final output in Mono however because I go live and I dont have the option to fix in post. Therefor every time I go live I get stuck with the audio only coming out of the left side as I only have the mic in input 1 (XLR). So my question is would the Evo 4 input 1 (XLR) only record to the left side/channel during recoding or going live or will it record to both the left and right sides?

There isn't a way to have both outputs playing at a higher volume due to how the monitor mix works. @@Audientworld hmm maybe a little off still, a TRRS is a 1/8 but my main outs on mixer is 1/4's out. I guess my main question is is it necessary to have a 1/4 TRS coming out of my mixer into a dual TRS 1/4 cable into evo? I use a single "out" 1/4 from mixer.. shouldn't it be a TRS cable out of mixer to dual 1/4 mono into evo? I might be wrong but I don't see a purpose for all connections to be TRS because TRS to 1/4 dual mono should separate the signals into back of evo left and right for a balanced sound? or is that a split box I'm thinking of? please explain or did you mean TRS to "mono" and not " TRS Mono"? or maybe I just don't understand fully and actually need a TRS out from mixer to dual TRS cable into back of evo I heard you can go either way ~ Thanks

Hello there Joe, Just to clarify, if you're taking the signal from a stereo TRS on the mixer, such as a headphone output, then you'd need a Y splitter to separate the signal out to separate left and right since the inputs on the EVO are Mono inputs. Otherwise, if your mixer has separate balanced Left and Right outputs on the mixer (either TRS or XLR) then you can simply use a pair of TRS cables to connect this up to the two inputs on the EVO.

Can you connect to an iPad for audio io over USB?
@Audientworld

EVO will connect to an iPad. You would simply need to use an active USB hub to provide the USB bus power. The only exception would be an iPad Pro which can power EVO 4 directly from it's USB-C port.

Same thing for other ''small" usb interfaces I think? (Scarlett 2i2, Presonus Audiobox or even Behringer UMCs?)

When is the Usb 4 coming? Still on usb 2 . The Latency What ever you do is a real problem and the thunderbolt is still so expensive. This interface is also innovative and contain lots of good features but the usb 2 ahhh .

Can I connect 2 Guitar and record together?

You can connect one guitar to the DI and the other to the Line input 2 using an external DI box, you can then record two guitars at once.
