South London gets a lot of hate but South London is a lovely place. Yes there are areas which need a refresh but generally South is south.
@kamtheo9774

South is just south of the river, the least developed side of the river, the more rural and less metropolitan parts of the city, the more unknown territory of London. But yes just like North of the river it has its good bad and ugly

@kamtheo9774
17 күн бұрын
@@jokeaaaa North of the river is where you will find more languages and international business. South of the River is more home to permanent settlers. When people say south is worse it really depends how. For example I’m sure the most dodgy place for the Turks is North east London. Because that’s the main place they operate as a community. East is by far the worst place for the Pakistani community. If your a posh white guy from the posh parts of SW London, drinking in a East end pub or Cannon town you would be slipping/lacking from the working class lad, however I don’t think that stuff is necessarily the case in today’s work. Imagine in 2004 being young and black from Peckham and walking around Brixton five ways, Angeltown, philly, etc 🤷🏾♂️

Ace has that "ready to leave" American spirit, but the brits relax and carry on good conversation, they don't do "small talk". they actually try to be friends and make genuine connections that move outside of the business or shop. The way that guy was saying blacks weren’t allowed to live at those properties, it’s not true. It wasn’t by law they had to prevent ethnic minorities living there. In fact, discrimination was always illegal. Some landlords (owners) didn’t want to rent out to ethnic minorities in the early days. It was not like America with segregation laws in place (until the 1960s).
