This interview is what we need right now. Full of wisdom based on his experiences. From one of the most hated drivers during his younger years to one of the crowds favourites now. Seb’s interviews never disappoint. A lot will be delighted if one day he’d come back on the grid.

@@mosaic94 I dont think it was aimed at any one in particular. Lewis is one of the most watched drivers fashion wise, but Seb is a good friend of his. I still remember the days when Vettel was not very well liked by the British Media (largely not his fault...there was some stereotyping him as similar to Schumacher basically because he was German...plus he was rivaling Lewis at the time). Its good to see him get the chance to show his charm and knowledge now, whilst promoting his very worthy project. It would be nice to see him back...but only for the right project. I felt he was undervalued in his last few years...but perhaps also his spark had gone somewhat.

Seb was the driver I idolised when I was younger, watching those RB title wins was something to behold. Also it's funny to see the amount of love he gets worldwide nowadays compared to his championship years where I felt like the only Vettel fan on earth, some people just don't appreciate true champs in their prime. I'd like to see him drive in WEC for Ferrari or BMW, a Le Mans win with either of those Marques would be something special given his F1 history.

I love Vettel, and I think it's admirable what he's trying to bring in the idea of racing with e-fuels, where motor sports can possibly bring back V8's and V10's, where fuel efficiency is no longer the biggest factor in winning anymore. However, this utopian future is still quite a far away. As he said as well, the process is very inefficient. The idea of using clean energy to remove CO2 from the air and create fuel that gets burnt back into C02 sounds like a responsible thing to do. But that clean energy could have gone directly into someone's house to power the heating and essentials. The fact you took it instead to make e-fuels, means that a coal/gas plant somewhere has to work more. And because the e-fuel process is so inefficient, you've actually made the world worst off. In fact, it would have been more efficient that the car didn't use e-fuel, and just used straight up pump gas, while the clean energy was left for domestic use. The e-fuel process will only work one day if most of the grid is already using clean fuels, likely from nuclear, and hopefully nuclear fusion and that there would be an abundant of energy, more than what we already need.
