I'm so glad you are exploring restaurants. There are soooo many there that we always had endless choices for going out. The international cuisine is crazy delicious too! Next time you are there I hope you try some good italian restaurants. There are pizza places there (Napoli style) that won contests as the best pizza in Italy! Tokyo is a foodie's dream city!

Ooh my fave places to visit when I had my year in Japan was Sayzeria and Coco curry Ichibana. Fave snack to buy at the Conbini or even better at the small bakery, was the curry pan! Delicious!

i went to japan in june and i was at takeshita street but i didn’t stick around long or try much of the food because i was so overwhelmed my first time being there alone but reliving it through the eyes of you guys is making me very hype for my second trip there in spring i love the way you guys explore it gives me an idea for how i need to be trying everything

I spent so much money when I went Harajuku a few years ago. FYI a lot of the foods that you tried you can also get in the LA area. There's one particular mochi place in Little Tokyo, Fugetsudo that still makes mochi the traditional way which is actually hard to come by now.

The fruit in Japan and Korea is SOOOOOO good. Pricy but so tasty. And the milk is divine, which is why so many ice creams, etc are SO DANG GOOD and the small izakayas are so fun.....we met the nicest folks in those.... Love the videos. Japan is simply amazing....

PRO TIP: When I travel to Japan I bring with me a portable stool. Not a full chair, but something that collapses and can fit in a backpack. Public seating in general is at a premium and even public benches are uncommon.

Omg I love this. The doggie designs are perfect! I wish I was able to see your series before my trip earlier! That poop ice cream thing is in an old style Japanese toilet, though it looks like a urinal. The poop used to kind of sit like that in it lol. It seems like they got rid of most all those old style toilets, even in the old areas of Japan. They used to even be in the Narita airport!

Another fascinating Japan video! Were you consistently able to communicate with shop and restaurant staff through Google Translate? It's helpful that you explained about the lack of public seating and trash cans; I don't think it is very common in Japan to eat while walking. How about public restroom access?

OH! i have a small sticker (two) small stickers with a cat with a shrimp on his head, and the one with the the shark on his head. I have a bigger one with the cat with the shark on his head on my mirror. Its a legit thing. I didn´t know that either. So DONGO is rolled grilled rice and is typicly sold during a festavel. The one you tried is my favorite. Its like sweet and salty at the same time. I think you can call me a conasorer of Dongo. I love Dongo!

I LOVED getting to go to Japan a few years ago and have always wanted to go back. Meiji Jinku was such a beautiful place and there was a wedding happening there when I was there and that was cool to see. The subway everywhere ended up being actually pretty easy to navigate after a few days there and we ate SO MUCH FOOD! From the 7-11's to all the restaurants. Hope you guys found a good ramen shop if you like ramen! All of the vending machines gave me so much life and I loved the sparking apple juice and the hot chocolate out of those!

The one thing I always find hard when I travel is choosing a place to eat, so I would probably go crazy in a city with this many options. 😂

I love this video because it's very similar to my last trip to Japan. I forgot the names of some of the places, so this video was priceless. It's so nice to see videos off the beaten path.
