In this video I brew an extract beer using cheap ingredients to find out if it's drinkable and if it's worth brewing. Extract beer ingredients are generally more expensive than all grain beer ingredients but the process is much quicker and easier which is the attraction of brewing with extracts. If you don't have 6 hours to knock out an all grain beer then extract brewing might be a great way to still brew your own beer with the time you have. But generally extract beer kits tend to not taste so good so in the video i will see if i can make a great tasting beer using a Woolworth's Homebrand Lager extract can but adding my own yeast and light dry malt as well as extra hops hot steeped to provide punchier bitterness and a bit of flavour.
I'm still setting up my processes to both capture and produce brewing content for my channel and my format will likely change in the future. I hope you enjoy watching my brewing process and if you have any questions you can contact through the links below.
