It could be interesting to get a Formula E car in a hillclimb, as they're adapted to much narrower tracks than F1. Their biggest track is literally Monaco, known in F1 for being almost too narrow.

Formula E cars lack the power and aero to even be close to competitive in a hillclimb or any other Motorsport for that matter.

Thanks, on the F399 the motricity is progressive, hence the clean drifts. On the opposite, modern era cars (plus the FW 16) are very "binary" due to their huge rear slick tyres I suppose : It's either full motricity or complete skidding, there's no middle ground.

Great comparison but hillclimb cars are made for tight, bumpy road and sharp turns which f1 cars couldn’t turn properly. I think the later sections of trento which include more hairpins would be more suitable.

Awesome video. Funny thing, I think that besides the cars being so extremely low-poly, many aspects look way more photo-realistic than F1 23. Lighting especially of dark parts look way more natural. Cool to see.

Thanks, adding your idea to the todo list :) For the moment, as far as I know, there is no AC mod for this car. There are a few mods like this that I wish modders add to the game, like the McMurtry Speirling.
how do you achieve this sense of speed in assetto corsa? motion blur settings or stuff, i cannot seem to go fast enough it all seems in slow motion

During onboards or spectator cam ? For onboard ("helmet cam", view number 1 ingame), setting a high FOV helps a lot to create sense of speed.

I tried like 100 times and that was the fastest run. It is really a hard car to drive properly. I've read many times the real FW 16 was unstable, I wonder how accurate the ASR mod is on this regard

Oh my goodness and the Ferrari F138 was done so dirty, there were several seconds of potential left on the table... I think you're a fantastic rally/hill climb driver but maybe don't have the know-how of extracting performance from formula cars as much as other classes perhaps?

Cool vids ! If I may, you're turning way too fast and instantly losing grip on the front wheels when going into a turn, this is especially visible during the iD onboard, some of the runs could be much faster if you went easier on the steering wheel imo :)

Thanks ! You mean in the hairpins or fast corners ?
@TiamatSorakaSolotop
Жыл бұрын
@@fabulouscarcharts5467 It's more apparent on the hairpins, but generally it's better to ease in when turning the wheel until you feel the point where you're at the limit of grip. You can feel this point very clearly when you steer too fast and then reel back some of the steering until the tyres get some grip again.

Truth be told yes drifting the 2016 F1 car is possible. However because that era of F1 drove like it did I'm almost certain you'd have to be an F1 driver to get it round that hairpin.

bro you should go for some laps with the cars till you can push all of them to the limit, otherwise you're just comparing your own pace in different cars than comparing the cars' pace going on the limit
