Surprised someone didn't mention it, but if you have a gopro, some short pieces of yarn, duct tape, and a car that drives, you HAVE a wind tunnel. Stick pieces of yarn where you want to monitor airflow, set up the gopro (and a light source if needed) then have a drive. Probably leave the mic recording and give a beep or two before doing an easy run up to whatever speed you want to, then you can see what you airflow is doing while driving. Reposition, and do it again. Then post it here for science and entertainment! Great build, but did anyone mention that you have the engine in the wrong spot? It's behind the car!

I'd be interested to see it painted the same colour as the car. OEM++ Paint those bumper bulges as well.

If you're getting airflow back up that far in the rear the big scoop you're making will add a bit of drag, you should seriously look at naca ducts, they give you air flow without the drag.

That aluminum piece should work great as a mold, if you decide to remake it in carbon fiber. Just wax it up, and go to town.

Cross breaking the entire piece would of helped to add strength also

The texture paint might actually be a good thing for airflow. Might give it the same effect as the surface of a golf ball.

Would be cool to add rod supports from the rear crash beam to the diffuser. Middle and sides

I like it the way it sits. I wouldn't paint it. The raw aluminum looks good.

And if you just went brushed or something to match your wheels would look great. Also got an ass on it with the license plate pawg73 if pretty fitting

doesn't it rain a lot there in Florida, what is going to happen when rain goes down the exhaust pipes when it is parked (not that it would be parked outside all the time) I guess you could put some tractor exhaust flaps on it

take the diffuser off and test what the bumper trim did for IAT's alone then put the diffuser on and see if the IAT's improve more. record your findings because the difference between science and just screwing around is writing shit down.
