Can't wait to try those muffins this weekend. I like to do double batches and freeze them - my kids go through breakfast muffins so fast and for some reason I hate making them every weekend. Thanks for supporting Purple Carrot and being open to trying a different way to eat. That gnocchi looks amazing. How is Adam enjoying the meat-free meals? I know he always has a hilarious comment about them in the videos, but I wonder if he's noticed that you've added these meals in to the rotation? You inspired me to make mango salsa and I was dying at how amazing it tastes homemade.

I've always loved cooking grew up watching food network always on tv but I've learned a ton from your channel. I buy green peppers and other things like onions that are okay in the freezer and cut them and freeze them it for fajitas and soups. It makes it so much quicker for the week!

Can you do a video on gnocchi that you would cook please. I’m really wanting to try it but don’t even know what it taste like. I love to cook and I also meal prep every week. But I really would love to see a common way that you would make Adam’s favorite way to eat it. I love your channel and get some great ideas and tips from you. I’m a southern cook born and raised in Tennessee! Thanks for sharing!

Jen, have you tried the dehydrated hashbrowns? I like them a lot better than frozen and they crisp up way better than frozen. Costco sells them in little 'like' small milk containers. I buy them in a 5 gallon bucket. With a tight lid they lasted us for 2 years when everyone still lived here. LOL my dogs, first thing they do in the morning is to cruise along the floor below the counters. Someone may have dropped something. First thing they do when coming in from outside too.

Have you seen the (relatively) new recipe book “Cook Once, Eat All Week”? It has some good ideas and recipes that seem up your alley. You are always coming up with something new. Also, there is a sweet couple that has some great recipe ideas. He is an amazing cook but they don’t just do the same old stuff which made me think of you because you like to try everything. Their youtube channel is Jess and the Boys. You’re on top of the cooking scene so I’m guessing you’re familiar with them. Thanks for taking so much time out of your busy schedule to record, edit, upload, find recipes, and so much more for our benefit!

Great video Jen! I love Fall dishes, especially the Pumpkin Muffins. I recently made Homemade Applesauce in my Instant Pot and it is awesome. I will never eat Motts again, except for a recipe. Jen, off topic, are you and Adam keeping up with the political drama in Iowa and the country? Just curious. Love your videos. I only make my hard boiled eggs in the IP, same method you use. I had one of those egg slices, mine was from the 60’! It finally rusted out so I need to buy a new one.

Have you tried cooking a standard meal and freezing a portion of them? I'm leaving and heading south for the winter and am making meals for the one son still at home who works crazy hours. I use canning jars, quart and gallon freezer bags and I bought these aluminum smaller sized pans (link below) that are good for two meals for him (he's helping). I put the lid on them, a piece of foil and wrap those in plastic. With the surgery, you may have to adjust meals but, it may work for you. Also, I put one raw chicken breast in a quart bag and added a marinade. If you do several meals you can get some variety in the freezer without wasting money. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0763T1HT3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I love the idea of the meal delivery service but I would like one where I could select the produce and meats that I want delivered. I have a huge pantry full of spices and I can find most of the ingredients at the grocery store so the extra packaging from the tablespoon of vinegar seems wasteful to me. Can you customize the ingredients you receive? The recipes look amazing!

I'm a stay at home mom and I'm trying to teach my husband how to cook because I have a little one at home and 2 in school. By the time I get to dinner time I'm burned out from cooking because of cleaning and trying to keep up with a wild 1 year old all day 🙊 pretty much, husband hates cooking. I don't hate it, I'm just always cooking something 🤦♀️ I need to figure out a meal prep method to make it easy to go for him and maybe he'll begin to enjoy it more 😂
