The scariest part is you're already past the event horizon at 0:15 even though the black hole takes up a mere 1/6th of your field of vision. And soon, the entire Earth will be ripped apart

What coordinates did you use inside the black hole, and with what velocity is the observer falling in?

To do this video, I used a Morris-Thorne metric which is a wormhole metric and I used a black picture to simulate the inside of the black hole. You can see here kzitem.info/news/bejne/yId8k2uvk3-VoXY an other video based on the same algorithm. The video is composed of thousand of deformed pictures. For each picture, the distance between the observer and the singularity is changed. This is not a "real" fall inside a black hole, there is no real velocity actually. It's just a sequence of pictures, each representing the black hole at different distances.

@@pierre-jeancharpin409 That's what I suspected, when you fall in with a velocity the aberration cancels out the backward pinch of the background sky (when hovering, half the field of view is black when hovering at the photon sphere, but when free falling that only happens at the singularity), see www.yukterez.net/org/relativistic.raytracer/falling.into.a.kerr.newman.black.hole.html

My software only calculates the gravitationnal lensing, that's why there is no blue/redshift

This is a good video but you forgot to include gravitational blueshift.

Thank you ! About the gravitational blueshift, it was not the point of the video. I just wanted to simulate the gravitational lensing caused by the black hole wihtout other effects.

Man this is edgy although a black hole can’t form on our planet still is pretty creepy
