This is a look at creating a simple art card in Final Cut Pro X. It is not a tutorial, but a look at developing simple motion graphics inside the NLE. Let's face it, Budgets are shrinking, timelines are getting shorter...the demand to produce more content is just getting greater...Final Cut Pro X is built to edit/playback fast and that really helps with motion graphics. Build...trim...layer...cut...design all at the same time, in less time. No more jumping between applications. to make nice, elegant and simple graphics. Don't get me wrong, High-end motion graphics needs to be done in a dedicated software (After Effects, Fusion, Motion), but almost everything else can be achieved right in the timeline.
