Great video. Must had the cam chest in my 2017 SGS updated with Reaper 465, 2020 oil pump, S&S lifters and tappetcuffs, pushrods along with RCX Tormentor header and my lovely 4.5 TABs with Zombie. Put out some great numbers, 100+ FPTQ at 2200 RPM and man she is waking the dead big time!!!! Keep up the good work.

Excellent, excellent video. Probably the best out there. Particularly, you explain the "what and why" of everything. That helps tremendously. Not just "do this, do this" with no why. Thank you!!

Does the Loctite do any good when there’s oil running out of the things still thought you’re supposed to clean that with brake clean and make sure the threads are nice and dry for the Loctite to get a proper torque spec

Fueling Race Series oil pump and cam plate vs S&S oil pump and cam plate on a Harley M8 114?

Hi great vid, ty. I did the same on a 2005 15 anniv fatboy, twin cam 95".B motor. with 37 G andrews cams.( new fueling camplate and HF oil pump)and a brand new s&s crankshaft. And new lifters, Now the oil is sumping in a week, nothing on oil stick?? my indy made sure o-ring on scavenger side, was in and not pinched. Also he checked the oil pressure, and it was good????? But as soon as you start it up, oil returns immediatley, to the tank at full mark?? please help, ty Rich from NY. Hoping this is normal, due to the larger ports on camchest and pump?? right??!!!

Can a cam plate and oil pump be tested for correct oil pressure while they are still on the bike and the engine is off?

The one thing I'm unsure of is using the old sprockets, chain, and tensioner with an upgraded performance cam. I'm not a mechanic, but wouldn't you want to change out those parts as well?

I would install the oil pump back plate first to make sure the suction spigot is seated in the O-ring. Trying to install everything together at once makes it difficult to get all the Gerotors aligned on the pinion shaft. I would not do it that way.

cant you put timing dots so they are together, adjust rear cylinder then rotate crank one turn so crank dot is up and cam dot is up then adjust front cylinder ? your dots were not even close. am I doing this wrong? or are both ways good?
@ulises83

i did this the same... i lined up the dots and adjusted rear, then rotated and adjusted front.

Great job!!. I know I do not have the skill to do this. Can you tell me approximately what it would cost to do this job? 2017 Ultra limited
@TABPerformance

Unfortunately, I can't. We don't do installs on these so we don't have a standard book time for this job and it really can vary depending on shop rates as well.

Why not just assemble oil pump with oil used in engine instead of assembly lube?
@jimmycrackcorn1783

Assembly lube is thicker sticks and makes sure when fire up it is lubed optimally till oil gets pumped through engine again!

Probably the best installation video I have seen. One small gripe... PLEASE lose the music... Fine in the beginning, but over and over and over is maddening! You're commentary is more than sufficient... You don't Stumble on your words, "Uhhs, Umms, Stutters" ARE nowhere to be found.. A real Pleasure to watch.

If this is daunting to you,,, NEVER get into the transmission! Seriously, this is a VERY straightforward process and this Video Explains it quite concisely... Secret is to TAKE YOUR TIME. He didn't use any "Specialty tools" except for a small Torque Wrench. Don't Rush and it's a simple process
