Textbooks eluded me. I like this live presentation. Maybe a colorful comic book approach would help, in print.

Subtract the first number from the second number and you have the spacing in-between stitch welds just to help a newbie

Hello question example 2"-4" stitch fillet weld, do you always start your measurement from the center on piece and work the measurement out on each side? so a 2" weld directly in the middle where perfect center of piece has 1" weld going left and going right full weld is 2". Or Could 2"4" also be 4" start measurement from end of piece and go in one direct?

Your not doing it ok bud. You should be starting with a 1" weld from the corner then à 3" gap then à 2" weld so that from the corner to the Middleton of your 2" weld you have 5". Now you are marking 3-6 becacse your first weld is 2" long you got à 3" gap then à 2 " weld (at centre à 1" weld). Have a gr8 day bud.
