Always been a fan of those 67-72 Fords(my first p/up was a 68 F100), but these high boys are a favorite. Just noticed it's a factory radio delete truck to! One day if you would, please a walk around of that factory crew cab bump side you've got, it'd be interesting to hear it's back story. Thx

I noticed one day that my truck wasn't riding or handling very well, certainly not like it did when it was new, so I ordered some bushings and picked up a set of shocks, took most of Sunday morning and a bloody knuckle but the new parts were on, this was time and money well spent, it rode and handled better than when it was new, it's such a difference that you can't understand it unless you've drove it before and after

You are absolutely correct when you surmise that we enjoy the 67-72 Ford trucks, no other truck looks as badass as they do. And I think everyone can relate to doing a job to just good enough to be "safe" and street legal, but to actually commit and go through with a full run down of everything that needs to be touched up and updated to legitimately be safe and reliable is a monumental task. Can't wait to see that black 4 door ferd 250 or 350 in future videos! I've had my eye on that one for a while now, she's a beaut!

@@marks.c4753 The 77 was Black, I was 19 and the truck was 1 year old when I bought it. I polished that thing so it just glowed. White spoke rims and some big tires. It looooooked good. My girl friend, my wife of 43 years now, and I had some epic trips in that truck. Little camper back on it. It just got to be to hard on gas so I sold it back to they guy I bought it off of. Last I heard of it was years ago. It had been turned into a wrecker on the Alcan highway. The 79 had a 10.5 foot camper on it. Just a plain brown truck with the few extra things they put on to make it a camper special, dual batteries, bigger springs, 9.50X16.5 tires. By now we had 3 kids. They still talk about the places we took them in that camper. Those trucks were the best Ford ever built in my opinion, for what that is worth. I learned to drive on a 1971 F250, 300 six and a 4 speed.

Very nicely done! Seeing her driving down the road gave a solid impression that she tracks perfectly straight and seems well planted. Very confidence inspiring, and I'd say with certainty that she'd make for a solid "going to town" rig now. What I adore about this truck especially is the honest patina of the body. She has just the right amount of wear and tear to show her age, but she still looks very honest and presentable. I'd be proud to drive that truck!

Really nice truck, Great Job. I would cover the axel tag with a coat of silicone to help preserve the tag. The one on the front of my 1976 Highboy rusted and when I was out wheeling off road I lost it. How hard was it to get the drums off of the rear wheel hubs? I have a second 1976 Highboy that I cannot get the rear drums off of the hubs. Thanks, I really enjoy your videos.
