Mustang, corvette, mazdaspeed 3, focus st, SRT4, GTI, cayman, Q60, M3, etc. Every online community, car meet or random guy I run into at a gas station is tuned. Even my wifes mustang and SHO taurus have a tune. The manufacturer tends to leave a lot on the table with little to no risk. The amount of power added doesnt sound like much. But you have to consider the starting point. We are looking at an almost 10% increase in power here with no physical parts. No boost or excessive stress on the internals. In all honesty the engine will be running safer against knock and cooler from the E85. This is a win.

@@emissarygw2264 Just turbo it. But make sure you use forged internals. Build it properly. Built Subaru engines are actually very good. It's when people don't have built engines, and then just strap on a turbo or up the boost that they then get blown motors etc and start blaming Subaru for being unreliable lol. Do it once and do it properly. It won't be cheap though, but honestly worth it and better than trying to chase minor gains from NA. I have gen 2 on the way, and 100% will turbo it, but it's long term goal. Won't turbo it anytime soon, prob 5 years away. If this is a car you want to keep long term, and you want it to be a unique car etc, then this is the way to go. Honestly, legit thinking of putting an EJ in eventually also, since EJ is way better than FA for mods. That is backup scenario, incase the FA is just too expensive to work with, we'll see. If you want the easy option, just go with the Z or Supra. BRZ/86 path will be lots of work.
