There's no bad Deftones album imo, all of them are fire. sextape is truly transcendent. great reaction! gotta do adrenaline next.

Honestly if you keep reacting to their albums you wouldn’t be disappointed. My favorite honestly is their Self Titled album probably their most dark and heavy album.

The self titled album is definitely underrated, if you want their heaviest & darkest work, give that a try

Thanks so much for doing this one. Diamond Eyes is such a great album. A mix of heavy with serene beauty. No one does that better than The Deftones.

Hey dude! Just found your channel and I love it! Your calm and measured reaction approach is a breath of fresh air in a sea of loud and somewhat annoying reactors. You seem genuinely interested and open minded in your approach, and that's great to see. I have been a Deftones fan for about 15 years now. That's half of my life. I love seeing someone experience and appreciate a record of theirs for the first time. I have a suggestion - have you listened to any of Chino's other projects? There are a few: Team Sleep, Palms, Crosses. I would love to see you react to the self titled Crosses album. I think you will really enjoy it.

Owww, man, thank you so much. Your kind words encourage me greatly to continue listening to this amazing music I've been discovering in the past months. I'd definitely check Chino's side projects, even if I don't upload a reaction of them, and I assure you, eventually, you'll hear me talking about it. Once again, I appreciate very much your words and take them as a milestone that what I do is somehow important/relevant for someone other than me. Cheers!

Chino is the only person that can make a scream have a physically clenching reaction from my body. Royal is easily his most insane scream and it’s my FAVORITE part of the song by far

Ahh man hearing Risk again reminds me of the first time hearing it and how sad I felt as it was about Chi. Chino dug in deep writing that one. Rocket skates was such a banger back then, I blasted the breakdown in my car so much. Still can’t listen to the title track, the chorus is a little too commercial sounding for me.

A few albums I'd recommend for you to react to, if you haven't heard them already, are as follows: Tool - "Fear Inoculum" (it's their newest album that just released a few months ago and it's amazing. It's being regarded as a masterpiece for good reason) Mastodon - "A Cold Dark Place" EP (only 4 songs but super good, dark, progressive metal. Eerie and beautiful at the same time) The Smashing Pumpkins - "Melancholy and the Infinite Sadness" (a double disc as well as their best album. A mix of metal, grunge and progressive. Fast and heavy as well as slow beautiful songs) Nine Inch Nails - "The Downward Spiral" (angry industrial metal. It has amazing energy. It's also their best album and has a few of their hits on it) Deftones - "Deftones" (their self titled album and has some of their heaviest songs on it. Seriously good)

I'd probably start with Deftones self titled, but I assure you I'll take a listen of them all. Melon Collie is also one of those albums I wanted to listen long ago, but never took the time to. Perhaps that one will have a reaction.

@@tonywhitburn Melancholy is incredibly diverse which would make for an epic reaction. There's everything from super fast metal to beautiful melodies that will make you want to drift off to sleep. It's also got that early 90's grunge sound which is incredible. And as far as that Deftones album goes, it has a harsher sound than their other stuff. It took me a couple listens to get into but once it hit me it became one of my all time favorite albums. Just know they changed-up their style for that one, but it paid-off big time. Seriosly heavy and thrashy with a few slower songs that are gorgeous. Also, I love what you're doing with your channel. From one music fan to another, peace.
