Y'all need to educate yourselves before speaking on things you don't know about. Pac was born IN JAIL. His mom was a black panther and a crack head and moved them around from city to city chasing the high anyway possible. He went to a school for arts to try and make a legitimate life for himself and the law wouldn't let him. The media and the law attacked him every step of the way. When he moved to Marin county he got in tight with the California crew and was adopted into the street life. He SHOT TWO COPS IN ATLANTA who were in illegal possession of firearms from evidence using them to stick ppl up and were in the middle of shaking down an innocent woman and pac shot them both down. He fought court case after court case. His tours were planned around his court appearances. And in the night he was killed suge whispered in his ear that's the guy that stole one of our chains and without hesitation in front of thousands of ppl stomped out Orlando Anderson. Then later died for it. And his last words rather than saying who did it were " fuck you" to the police. To say pac wasn't thugging is just beyond disrespectful to his legacy. He was quick to humble himself when necessary. There's a reason why there have been college theology classes that studied Tupac music and interviews. At 23 years old he was already making references about Trump's greed and communicating about how he couldn't understand why churches are so big and collect money every Sunday, and there are homeless people on the street. He felt the churches should focus more on helping people in need of help instead of throwing money into material things. I feel he could have been a Prophet 🙌. ☮️💖🕊️✝️

Damn i love this song. I'm not even reading the lyrics and I still remember the words. Just rapping it back, you can feel the song. It's so genuine and he's flow and voice is perfect with his style.

Pac never said he was a gangsta, but he did say that he was a thug. Two totally different personas. Being a "real" thug doesn't mean that you're out banging (that's being a gangsta).

Glad you guys did this one. This album was the first hip hop album I ever purchased, I was 11 years old. My mom only let me purchase it because she liked the song “Dear Mama.”

Watching a new generation experience 2 Pac’s is awesome. I always wondered if he’d have stayed at the top if he was still around. I was a 14 yr old white girl in Iowa and I cried when he died. I still hold out hope in the conspiracy theories around his last album and dying on Friday the 13th that he’s really living on an island somewhere.

If 2pac was given the chance to grow lyrically, deffs the greatest rapper of all time. His delivery, story telling & subject matter was already top notch. Truly a rapper beyond his years.

Yea people tend to get shit twisted, standing for your people against all odds to the point of hoping out and shooting at some white dudes simply cause they were jumping a black dude will ALWAYS be realer than doing the opposite and hurting your community by selling drugs, killing each other, etc. It's sad that some people can't see what's right in front of them. Pac wasn't perfect, no one is but he was realer than a lot of people's favorite rappers
