Peter Barber, Bobby Base, Tomi P, and Marwan Axman are the Bass Gang. Their cover of Emperor's New Clothes is amazing. The redhead is Colm. The guy with the neck tattoos is Peter, the Bearded guy is Bobby, the Tall hair is Marwan, Skinny guy is Tomi.

You should check out Mad World by the Bass Gang. It’s definitely one of their bassiest ones they’ve done. They have never gotten together because they live all over the world. Peter (“tattoo guy, who does have one real tattoo on his arm) and Bobby (beard guy) live in different parts of the US. Tomi P (tall guy) lives in the Czech Republic, and Warwan (who’s only 18!!!) lives in Egypt.

The Bass Gang, to me, complete the QUADRIfecta of a cappella groups... Together with PTX, Home Free and Voiceplay. Each one has its own style, its signature points, its unique characteristics. And I love all four of them. 🙂 Peter Barber also does "Bass singer's reaction & Analysis" videos, and he covered this one (and all the others by the Bass Gang) with a precious "insider insight". 🙂 And I love the respect these groups show to each other. 🙂

Tim Foust - Home Free. In order from the guys sliding by. Peter Barber ( US - bass opera singer), Colm (guest), Bobby Bass (US), Tomi P (the Czech Republic), Marwan (Egypt). The Bass Gang has just completed their 3rd album - Disney songs - Arabian Nights (Aladdin), Be Prepared (Lion King), Gaston (Beauty and the Beast), A Friend Like Me (Aladdin). Peter is doing reaction/analysis of their videos.

Bass Gang consists of Peter Barber and Bobby Waters ,bearded, aka Bobby Bass from US, Tomi P, tall 6'5 and gangly from Czechia and last but not least Marwan Aymen, curly hair from Egypt, only 18. The others are 22-24. They have worker together on distance about 2 years now. Red-har brown jacket is guest Colm from Ireland I believe. The tattoo are fake for this song It was Peter , operasinger who arranged this song. All 4 have arranged 1 song each for this album each ft a new guest. That maked the 4 songs very different in nature. Recommend to check out them all 4. They are worth it. Many basses can go up high as well, but it's usually Tomi P and Peter up there.

Tattoo guy is Peter Barber and he was hitting the belt near the end, Tomi P is the leather jacket dude and he was hitting the super high stuff, he’s a bass but he can sing higher than most male tenors by a lot. The low note was an A1 but it wasn’t just Peter who hit it. All five of them each tracked it twice using a mix of growl, chest fry, and subharmonic techniques but that robotic tone that you heard when the other guys faded out was Peter. Subharmonics are a staple technique to get lower tones, especially with Bass singers (and Baritones like myself) it takes a super relaxed throat and you have to blend vocal fry with a chest note, it will make it ring out an octave lower. Most guys can sing an A2, but getting a solid subharmonic A1 takes tons of work, and they all can nail it on top of going lower and higher than most folks. I am not a bass, my chest voice ends at D2 while most of them can sing between A1-B1 in chest, but with those techniques you can make people believe you’re a bass.

The talented fake tattoo guy is Peter Barber who originally was an opera singer. He has done some of his own stuff and I highly recommend his version of Avi Kaplan’s Otherside. For the Bass Gang, recommend their versions of Centuries and Iris.

I can’t pick favorites with these guys-they’re all amazing. Great reaction-I hope you’ll check out more. Also, Colm (it’s pronounced like column) and each member of the Bass Gang, Peter Barber, Bobby Bass, Tomi P and Marwan Ayman, all have their own channels. Peter just dropped a new song on his that you might like since you like him. Great reaction!

They all have very wide ranges. They all have amazing voices, very different and yet they work really well and blend really well together. They have several great videos on their channel and they take turns doing the arrangements. They also have four videos from last year that are on their individual channels from before they created a joint one. Those four are all of Billy Eilish songs - definitely worth hunting those down and listening to them too (all four are amazing but my favorite is of Bury a Friend). This series of four they again took turns arranging and also had a different guest artist in each. Colm (the raspy voice you really liked at the beginning) is the guest in this one. Don't discount Tomi P either. He's the one who frequently does the crazy high parts but he has some insane bass drops in some of their other arrangements.

The five singers in order of soloing are Peter Barber, Colm McGuiness, Bobby Waters (aka Bobby Bass), Marwan Aymann, Tomi Pizur (aka Tomi P). Colm was a guest on this song. Each of the members arranged one song of the four song EP "The Bass Gang Vol.2). Peter Barber arranged this song. This is a side job for Peter, normally he is an Opera singer and his training has allowed him to expand his range upward.

Several others have already stated who each member is so I’ll try not to be redundant, however I do recommend checking out the other Bass Gang songs. Two of my favorites are Centuries ft. Jonathon Young (another song from this same album, arranged by Marwan) and The Emperor’s New Clothes (has just the 4 Bass Gang members, and was also arranged and edited by Marwan). Also, while Peter Barber did all of the beatboxing for this song, all 4 members can beatbox to some extent. Marwan beatboxes in both songs I recommended above, Bobby Water (a.k.a. Bobby Bass) does so in his arrangement of Iris, and Tomi P does some beatboxing in his solo work on his channel which you should also check out. :)

This song is from Hunger Games and the fire is a nod to the district Katniss lived in. These guys are really moving up the ranks. They keep getting better and I'm liking them more than PTX now. Their latest songs are all amazing. It's crazy how high they can sing as well as hit basement notes. I'm not sure about Bobby, but the other three can all beatbox. If you haven't heard it I'd recommend Hellfire by Tomi P. His 7 octave range is mind blowing and the song is phenomenal. He does every voice in it. He's the one doing the high whistle notes here. Colm (col um) has some amazing stuff out and I'd suggest his Dwarvish version of Misty Mountains because you haven't heard anywhere near his low.

I'm kind of like Poppa Pryce about Colm on this one, because this was a song that really fit Colm's voice well, but Mad World was the bassiest in Volume 2, and my favorite was Centuries.
