Peter,. It's great that you work with the reactors and give a deep dive introspective that a simple or even talented listener won't realize or notice. Would love to see you doore co-opping reactions. Maybe get with some other reactors and review stuff that is not yours also.

25:53 - "I need to hear it 3 more times." Me, a month ago right at that part of the song... I probably listened to like 13 times, and not 3 more times, tho. Amazing reaction - I love these together with the creator/arranger - 1st for the extra informations and insight and 2nd for all the times you can see when Peter (or whoever you're doing a video with) is waiting for a reaction at a specific moment. You're reactiong to the song/video and Peter is reaction to you. Love it!

FINALLY!!! I’ve been DYING to see your reaction to this, Mortius! And I’m glad you got to chat with Peter so we hear more about the process. I just love this one! I don’t have money for regular Patreon donations right now (HUGE vet bills and they’re still coming), but when I like a song so well that I keep returning to it for days, I go ahead and buy it on Apple Music, so I can hear it in the car. So far there hasn’t been a Bass Gang song that hasn’t ended up in my library. Can I ask you please pretty please to check out Peter’s solo piece, It Won’t Be Me? Marwan and Tomi also released some really good new songs recently.

Always love these kind of reactions where you have the arranger onboard - Not only do I learn a lot, I love seeing someone proud of their work and their joy over seeing others excited about it. It was a terrific decision to start making analysis videos like that Mortius!

I'm probably the only person on YT who never heard this song before the Bass Gang's version, & now it will always sound flat or lacking when I hear anyone else do it. 😏 What a great song, what a fabulous group of voices, what a solid & fascinating arrangement, & what a lovely creative video!! I'll definitely be listening to this several more times to catch some of the things Peter & Mortius talked about, & for pleasure of course 🤓 Mortius, as usual I love the knowledge & thought you bring to your analysis, & the honest enthusiasm & enjoyment of your reactions. (The alternate Pit Vipers are a hoot too! 😎) Peter's as erudite & passionate as always, & his reactions to *your* reactions were great. Wonderful collaboration guys! 💜💜💜

Mortius and Peter, I loved having the 2 of you go through this. I've listened to several times but this was enlightening. When I first saw the title to this and you sang "red, orange, yellow flicker beat" it made me think of the 3 colors of flickers that I've seen. Here in the Southeast the common one is red, out West is yellow and where the ranges overlap you get orange. Y'all did great on this one, truly. And Mortius, loved your substitute PIT VIPERS and the upside down version. Clever! I've mentioned this before but it would be great fun to have Peter and Geoff do a duet.

I am rewatching essentially all of these videos, hearing Peter say that the low range of someone’s voice is set basically by biology is pretty interesting. I’m an 18 year old girl whose lower range can extend into growled octave 1. My low notes without growls go to Db2. And my higher range goes quite high too, which as he said is more flexible. But the fact that, as a biological woman, my range can go as low as it does is really intriguing for me.
