You can like the music or not, but there's no denying that someone that can play all those instruments at that level of proficiency, sing not with just perfect pitch, but perfect micro tonal pitch, and can reharmonize music at a level that no less a jazz giant pianist like Herbie Hancock has said to him "what the hell chord was that?", all while fashioning compositions using literally HUNDREDS of vocal snippets, creating amazing videos to showcase his work, and having won 4 Grammy Awards already proves he is something everyone needs to check out. Preach it. And dont forget the sunflower album or the holland album or the love you album from 1977. The love you album is crazy. No bass guitar on the whole album. Just a synth bass played by brian. It is pure punk/ new wave and the beach boys did it first just as they did in 1966 with pet sounds and smile. Also check out the 2020 album from 1968. Wowsers.

I've been listening to the Beach Boys at work since I heard them on my neighbor's radio and I've been smiling like you did on this video. Car Crazy Cutie has become my new old favorite song. It's sooo good. I'm just nearly 60 years behind the curve on this one :D

I was 11 years old when a beach shack burnt down, so i went to explore it. I found a 48 single that wasn't burnt. It was Surfing USA by The Beach Boys. I loved it as soon as I heard it, especially because it mentioned Santa Cruz, where I was living at the time.

Grew up with these guys. Love most everything they do. Nice react to their song. Some of the best harmonies right up there with crosby stills n nash, the beatles, the temptations etc. They had about a gazillion great songs. Love to see your reacts to the 4 seasons...especially ragdoll. Nicely done.

Please check out "The Wrecking Crew" they did most of the instrumentals for them, and the female bass player, Carol Kay, she was the groundwork for all female base players today. She was playing in nightclubs at 14 years old!!

Carol Kay, The wrecking Crew and Phil Spector were the real talent behind many groups during that period. With the possible exception of Phil Spector, few in the public ever knew the, "Real" musicians behind some of the most famous licks and iconic sound that was dubbed, "The Wall of Sound".

@@tiffknee1821 I know! And what's really cool is that my husband knew how much I loved The Beach Boys and "God Only Knows", and he surprised me with the song at our wedding! We originally chose another song ( cause he wasn't a big fan)and I wasn't going to force it on him. About a yr later, I went to my umpteenth B.B. concert, got a message backstage about it being my wedding song. Carl came to the mic, asked where I was ( front row) and- yep, sang it at me!( sigh)💝

I was just about 11 years old when I first heard the Beach Boys on the radio, I think they were the group that first taught me to love harmonies. There songs are great and I know you have many recommendations. Your reactions would thrill all the fans who watch you, I know I love watching you sweetheart. I shall see what else I find on your video list now. Take care and stay safe please everyone and good luck Jayvee Mary-Ellen UK
