How? It's called talent. Pure, raw, talent honed by years of dedicated, loving practice. No autotune, no tricks , just plain talent. These brothers started young, just singing for the pure joy of it. They were poor, so they didn't have the benefit of training; they just sang from the heart, with some motivation to entertain. The funny thing is that they had no idea of how much they could earn from their music; they just hoped that people would like them. They had their priorities right and their combination of talent, hard work, teamwork, mutual respect, and love of music led to great music and the accompanying rewards. By the way,, they considered themselves songwriters first, performers second.

To add a bit; They began performing in 1955, as The Rattlesnakes, when Barry was 9 & Robin & Maurice just shy of 6. 1958, they moved to Australia & were briefly Wee Johnny Hays & the Blue Cats, which is when they met DJ Bill Gates & speedway promoter, Bill Goode. You made comment about how they sound so good, simple Talent, as where all artists were during those decades with no Auto-tune. The Bee Gee's began in the late 1950's and kept evolving themselves through each decade. Barry (in the middle) discovered he could sing falsetto when recording Nights on Broadway, I think. His brothers Maurice (right) & Robyn (left) are twins, and both have their own signature voices. But when the harmonies happen, it just takes it to a new level. Sadly, though both Maurice & Robyn have passed. There was a much younger brother Andy who also became a singer in his own right, and sometimes joined his older brothers in concert. Andy has also passed, leaving only Barry. The Bee Gees wrote and recorded many songs and wrote many songs for other well known successful artists. This is just the beginning of your journey into the Bee Gees. Enjoy the journey.

Barry Gibb, here the lead singer, shared lead with brother Robin (beardless bro) in other songs. Maurice (pronounced MORRIS) is Robin's fraternal twin and occasionally sang lead, but usually shared songwriting duties.and played keyboard, piano, bass, etc. Bee Gees wrote their own hits and very rarely covered other artists songs. May I suggest "How Deep Is Your Love" ( same time as "Too Much Heaven"-- 1977-78). An early(1970-71) hit is "How Can You Mend a Broken Heart." You can see that Barry sings in his natural chest voice and didn't sport a beard until a year or so later

Music during this era was heavenly unlike the vulgarity of today's content. It was about the craft with no digital trickery or autotune. It was a blessing to group up with this pure joy.

Rabbit hole time. Staying Alive...you've definitely have heard...How Deep is your Love, Fanny be tender with my love, Jive Talking, Nights on Broadway,...just a few from 70s. Started in 1958, hits from 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s until Maurice's sad passing in 2003. My favourite group forever ❤️

Bee Gees….. brothers Gibb Lead singer Barry had that natural falsetto as displayed beautifully in this song. His brothers Maurice & Robin have that natural raw talent to harmonize this beautiful song. This kind of talent is rare & what made the BeeGees music so special.

Others like yourself, watching for the first time, now have Beegees posters behind them ......those three brothers were kings of harmony. Performed as a trio since they were kids.

How is this SOOO GOOD ? It can't be a coincidence that they are brothers, 3 brothers (2 of whom are twins) is almost as close as you can get to 3 voices that are almost but not quite 1 voice in harmony. they knew each other so well because they were so close. And they worked at it damn hard for many years.

They are the best singers ever. Grew up together singing. Barry, the lead, is going on 50 years married to his wife. They were raised really well by their mom and dad. Brothers singing together all their life. No auto tune, just talent. Try any of their amazing catalog, spanning the late 1950s right through the early 2000s. You'll love it!

Mesmerizing performance. They are iconic. You have certainly heard Stayin Alive, its played every 20 seconds somewhere in the world still. They have 19 million monthly subscribers on spotify 60 years after they started performing. Great reaction. Just subbed

You probably know this by now, but they are all brothers (Bee Gee = B G = Brothers Gibb.) They were born on the Isle of Man, off the coast of northern England, and grew up initially in Manchester, followed by Australia, before returning later to England. There was a 4th brother, the youngest (Andy Gibb) who launched a successful solo career and was as much of a heartthrob as Barry. I’m sure there’s a clip of him performing “Shadow Dancing” on here. But he fell into drugs and died young (there’s a clip of them singing “Don’t Throw It All Away” in tribute to him at a concert.) Today, sadly Barry is the only surviving member of the group. The Bee Gees provided a key part of the soundtrack to my life, I was in my late teens when they had their biggest hits. Their perfect harmony and the backing instrumentals are just so smooth and seamless, and Barry’s lead vocals are intense. Their sound is so emotional and intimate, it was the “go to” selection for a romantic date (or should I say, at the end of a romantic date!)

even though I was more into rock and the harder edge stuff, we all knew what The Bee Gees brought to the table. unmatchable vocal talent and what a collection of songs they did of many genres. I am glad some of the younger generation is at least exposed to the old stuff.

Pure talent. No autotune, no fills, an orchestra. Players that actually play. How 'bout that. That's novel.
