Nomak in my opinion is the best villain of the entire trilogy. He hunts and kills vampires himself, and is a fly in the ointment of their plans. Plus he goes toe to toe with Blade and actually gets the upper hand in their fight before ending his own life with Blade's sword.
@Enderslegend

He's the most tragic villain of the Blade Trilogy, definitely. Betrayed by his family, has an addiction level thirst, and even though he and Blade align in goals, Blade has to kill him because the Reapers are worse because they have none of the control that vampires have. Some fantastically dark writing. I only hope the new movie will capture at least a portion of the magic of this one.

Nomak was definitely a tragic even sympathetic character. He didn't end his own life though. Blade got his ass; he just finished the job by thrusting the blade deeper which was done for poetic justice. By that very act he redeemed himself as opposed to being another baddie Blade took down.

Nomack is definitely my favorite of all the Blade villains. The final fight between the two of them was amazing. Blade was the superior technician as far as skill goes but Nomack was like a force of nature; raw power and animalistic aggression. The Reever’s were a throwback to classic vampire’s like Count Orlock in Nosferatu, not sparkly romantic or charming. Just ruthless, predatory creatures. And that’s the type of vampires I wish Hollywood would show more of.

@Muck006
Жыл бұрын
"Good" always depends upon your expectations. The Tim Burton Batman movies were good ... if you "dont take them too literal"; STYLE and MOOD were more important for them, because there wasnt the technology to make a "pure" Batman action movie ... and frankly Batman carries around far too much gear for that to be cool, especially THE CLOAK. Blade isnt hampered in that regard. Even the Batman movie from the 60s was good ... for its own style. Iron Man isnt as action heavy as Blade, but it is awesome for being a CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT movie, which Blade isnt really. 60s Batman - great campy comic humor ... * POW * Tim Burton Batman - great STYLE / FEEL for the society and "justification" for the larger-than-life (and sometimes over-the-top) villains Blade - great "REAL" action Iron Man - great character development ... but sadly they go too far with the Iron Man suit capabilities Dark Knight trilogy - again great character development and (1 + 2) awesome villains in a "realistic" setting, but the CGI again "ignores physics" ... They are all different in some way. tl;dr People should stop comparing apples to oranges ...

Wesley Snipes is Blade, Blade is Wesley Snipes as much as Mahershala looks like Blade (mainly from people watching Alita Battle Angel and seeing him as Vector), and as much as he is good as an actor (which he is very good at), I just don't know if he can act like Blade/Wesley, as Blade/Wesley has a very distinct personality and mannerisms and etc to him, which I don't know if that can be copied/acted upon, even by one as good as Mahershala, and then there's the entire issue of the combat, you just can't replace a real martial artist with using an excellent fight choreography director and/or a MA stunt double, as, as again, wesley snipes has a very distinct way of fighting due to his personality and etc, it just won't be the same, as you can't get both the acting for the distinct combat and the combat performance itself, as the only one who can do that, is Wesley himself however, even if Wesley was casted for blade, he's a lot older now, and just he won't be able to move with the speed and etc, that he did when he was far younger doing blade 1 and blade 2 (and blade 3, disgruntingly have to mention it too, lol) personally, almost as much as I would love for a new blade, I think it's better to just end the blade franchise, as any new blade is just going to be the same krap as blade 3, but likely even worse, due to the issue of who plays blade, even if its wesley himself, as he's a lot older now

When speaking on Blade 2, I've always said that you can clearly tell Wesley is having alot more fun with the character in this one. The ways he plays Blade in this one by adding certain touches of lighthearted humor, a little more personality, some cooler one liners, etc, all while still maintaining the stoic nature of the character from the 1st film. Overall, both Wesley (and Blade within the movie) just seemed to really enjoy being there and having a good time. The fight choreography was kicked up a few notches, the story was more interesting, villain was much better, the 3rd act twists were really good, and the CGI was much better (except for the fight in Blade's lair when they fought in the guard lights...THAT CGI was NOT good, lol!)

Not to mention you combine that superhuman strength, speed, reflexes, agility, and reflexes, with an entire life's worth of martial arts training and gymnastics, fueled by a motivating lifelong hatred of vampires. The absolute perfect athlete and killing machine. The blood pack were all highly skilled pure bloods and barely made him sweat, he perspired lol. Blade 3 was scrambled in production because Snipes lost his fucking mind. Cast and crew reported him being stoned nearly all the time while filming, insisting that he be treated like he was Blade even off camera, and refusing to leave his trailer to film. Much of the footage of Blade in 3 was face overlays of Snipes onto his stunt double who often had to also act the part, and quick cutting shots to keep from showing Blade face forward too much.

Vampire: the Masquerade is a role playing game from the early 1990's. The original book features art by TIM BRADSTREET. These visual images were used very liberally in Blade 1 and when Del Toro took the helm for part 2 he brought Bradstreet on as a conceptual artist to make sure he was paid for the work that had been stolen from him. Also, I streamed two long chapters of a Vampire game (really good stuff - you can find it on my channel) with a dude who could pass for your brother in real life. No shit.

Powerpuff Girls were big at this time I feel but I know I enjoy watching them today. Think that's why it feels so cool vampires watching Powerpuff Girls level too cool for the cool people And I just realize that vamp called Whistler Buttercup which means that vamp really likes watching the Powerpuff Girls in that universe that he's using it in daily life (nightly life) as we do in this universe and that adds coolness to the usage of Powerpuff Girls in this movie never noticed that and now it's even more awesomeness fandom

The most notable thing about the third movie is we get to see Ryan Reynolds basically honing his snark before he got to do Deadpool.

I see you never reacted to blade 3 or I at least couldn't find it but I'd say it's worth finishing the trilogy imo and I'd like to at least know what you thought about it plus I liked it

Young Norman Reedus, and the many undead foetus ;p I also always forget Danny John-Jules (Red Dwarf's Cat) is in this, as blood pack member Asad. Sliiiight shift up from what I know him from :o And adding to the chorus, yes watch the third - very different tone, but never fails to entertain me.

Blade III is personally my favorite. Mainly because it has Ryan Reynolds in it. It would also make it the third franchise/movie in the MCU he’s been in. Blade III Deadpool Wolverine

Wesley is Blade, I really don't want to see the new Blade remake. I would suggest for you to watch Blade 3 Trinity, I really don't think it's as bad as people say, Ryan Reynolds is funny and bad ass (not as good as Deadpool). I just learned a long time ago never listen to other people's opinions because I would acrually like movies that others didn't, so watch it and form your own opinion. It's still Wesley as Blade.

I enjoyed the third movie, though that may well be purely down to my willingness to ignore some pretty big flaws due to liking Ryan Reynolds. He fun in his usual way and I’d say the movie is worth a watch but it is a drop in quality.

Remember a few years ago when all of the media were hyping up Black Panther as the first superhero movie starring a black lead actor? The disrespect shown to Wesley Snipes' Blade and others like Spawn, Steel, Meteor Man. Heck, even Will Smith's Hancock and perhaps Halle Berry's Catwoman (okay, the less said about that one the better), but still. Truth is, there were actually more black lead superhero movies in the past, than there are today in the current 'fake woke' Hollywood climate.
