Wore mine for the first time last night. I found it comfortable and less invasive, less parts touching your face than other masks. It seals snd performs nicely. No problems at all. I thought it would have been noisy on the exhale, but I found it quiet and it didn’t disturb my wife…who is a light sleeper. I recommended it. I think most people will enjoy it.

I'm going to try the Solo, it does look very good. Jason my love and I have been married for 41 years She's 62 and I'm 61 we have 3 adult children and 5 grandkids. Having been married for 2/3rd's of our lives I can tell you a few bumps along the way but I wouldn't trade it for anything. She's truly the love of my life and my best friend and lover! Yes, I said it adult stuff kids look out. I truly have a wonderful life and we are very blessed to have found each other. BTW, my sprayer has never clogged thanks buddy!

The Brevida sounded just as loud. I tried the Solo with the pillows and it was just as loud. Also, while easy, I didn’t like having to adjust the straps every night. It expands to get over your head. With the Velcro straps, you set it and forget it.

I know exactly what you mean in the video. When it's on and there are other people in the room, the Solo is clearly louder. Really hard to get the microphone to hear what the wearer is hearing.

You did not my mention or show side sleep like the review on Evora. No leaks on side? The Evora blows into my eyes. Even when closed my eyes feel weird. I think they would need to extend the holes out a little bit further. In other words, since they're right at the base of the mask closest to the face, they're sure to hit the face area. They could still go upward if they had a way of putting the ports further away.

F&P Solo Nasal is the first and only mask I've tried. I've only been using cpap for a week. Good to know how it compares to others on the exhalation ports (if I am saying that right). I LOVE the straps and headgear. I don't love the hard plastic pieces, I think Jason called them stabalizers. They can hurt a little at times. I really want to try the nasal pillows if I can find them for purchase. I am a side sleeper and I'm starting my therapy at 4 on cpap mode. I have mild apnea. I'm grateful for all the good advice. I think I would not have liked the recommend settings for my initial introduction to cpap. Starting slow makes me not hate it.

I had no success with the Evora, and almost didn’t try the Solo. First initial thoughts are very positive. I went with the wide cushion even though the sizing guide was suggesting the large. I had no air turbulence and the exhaust seemed to be similar to my other masks. Yes, I mouth tape because it just works. Lastly, I do have my long tubing going up my bed post around 3 ft. resting on a hook then running back down to my bed. I have no drag or pull on the mask at all….and I love the setup. The only negative I have is the cost of the Solo… F & P must be making a killing.😢

It seems they have the nasal mask cushion, but not the nasal "pillows" cushion at your affiliate at this time. Would love to try it if they ever get the pillows cushion in stock. Also about the noise, our Aussie friend Nicko has a video titled: "F&P Solo Mask Noise - Solved". Maybe give it a look...Cheers mate!

I tried the ResMed "pillows" & found them to be very irritating to my nostrils. It's a lot of air pushing right up your nose. It didn't work for me. So far, I love the F&P Solo Nasal mask! It doesn't blow air into my eyes like the other 4 ResMed masks I tried. It comes with 3 cushions sizes so you can select the one that works best with your nose size & shape.

So after trying Solo for a few weeks, I found it is not for me. I tape my mouth shut and experience "bubble mouth" through the night (yes, that sucks), therefore my face shape changes constantly, which further looses Solo head gear. Once the hear gear is loosen, it doesn't become tightened by itself, which leads to leaks and noise, and wakings ..

It's early August and can't find pillows anywhere. I tried the standard cushion and while I like it, it seems to sometimes cause one or both nostrils to close. I wonder if a wide cushion would prevent this. I'm not sure why f&p isn't flooding the US market with these and the separate pillows or cushions. I know it's new but it's frustrating.

Yes. My problem with the P10 is the strap is I wear sleep cap & a shin strap which keep the straps from moving, but there isn't enough adjustment to allow a relaxed fit.The tight straps causes the pillows to irritate the inside of my nostrils & no amount of "oxygen lube" will make it comfortable. The P10 strap is 20" (51 cm). I need a longer length to allow a comfortable fit. If you know of longer straps, please reply.

I'm a side-sleeper so I have a small pillow (like a travel pillow) to rest my top arm on while sleeping on my side. This helps keep my spine straight (instead of twisting) and I put the hose under the pillow. Keeps the hose where it should be & works great. Doesn't affect air flow.
@beefcreeb96
5 күн бұрын
@@karenhughes4517 The travel pillow trick also works great to protect your top shoulder's rotator cuff (another alignment issue). You must sleep through the night on that one side? I alternate sides several times during the night so I would have to move the hose over to the other side along with the pillow. I did figure out how to make one of those hose hangers work, sort of (they're great for top connecting masks), so I'm muddling through. Thanks for the input, however!

I've been waiting for the Solo mask for a while now and think I will give it a try. I was waiting for your full review, so thank you. Nobody has had it available that I could find, as of yesterday. The additional noise does not sound great, but I will try the pillow, as well. My husband also wants to try it. We both use Dreamwear currently. BTW, I use Mask Bright every day to clean my cushion. Love it and will continue to use it. I found a medium-size sprayer with a trigger in the hair dept at WM. I keep it by my sink, and it works great with Mask Bright.

I had the same sizing troubles with the Evora, started with a large and ended up having to go with a wide. The wide was better but still not as good as I wanted. It looks like they may have found a good compromise with the Solo. I went back to the Brevida. I'm really looking forward to the pillows version as that's the one that I'm looking to get to hopefully replace the Brevida.

I bought the solo three weeks ago. It is the most comfortable and easiest one to adjust so far for me. It also is leak free when doing the mask fit. However the head gear either slips off while sleeping or the gray band pops up to the top of my head next to the orange band causing a bad leak. Also the short tube attached to the mask, if it lifts sightly above my chest it leaks but not if it moves to the side. I thought of taping the short hose to my shirt but I have no idea on how to keep the head gear from slipping off my head .

For a female with longer hair, a ponytail keeps the straps in place while sleeping. Not sure how a guy can keep the straps secure.
