Another great video and well explained! I’ve decided, from watching many of your videos, there is one ‘tool’ that you have that I don’t, that’s really handy when fixing mowers. And that is….a table or some sort of work bench! How much easier is it to have the mower elevated, rather than trying to work stopping over when your mower is on the ground. Getting a better work area is now on my to do list.

Thanks for watching Ms Inisfad. I got that motorcycle lift table over 10 years ago when I got tired of getting up and down from the ground working on scooters. The lawnmower sized type of lift table Bruce Pender uses, I think I've seen on UK AMzon called a "lifting platform trolley" He uses it all the time on his channel: kzitem.info Over here it's sold at Harbour Freight, and Princess Auto in Canada. Maybe someplace like Halford's on your side of the pond? Thank you for watching and commenting on my videos. Cheers!

@@TheLawnmowerLady Speaking of scooters, that old scooter (Vespa?) leaning up against your shed…I know I’ve asked you about this before (but forgot your response….lol). Does it run? And if not, any interest in doing a video on its repair?

@@Inisfad I got that several years ago and then, well, life got in the way. You're not the first to ask about this. I picked it up, non-running with a suspected bent fork. Didn't look bent to me, so I intended to flip it. I'll likely do a video if, and when I can get it up on the bench. Cheers!

Question: Followed your carburator video, and did a replacement rather than tear it down, BUT notice the throttle is not connected to anything related to the bail or cable. Found a brief explanation why that might be on another vidoe looking at a different older model. I haven't tried to fix a mower in decades. What's the deal with the "magic choke/throttle" can you do a video about this? It's a briggs and stratton like the ones you have worked on in other videos. I'm going to check out your page b/c you are great at explaining this. You get right to the point and use correct terms for the parts and tools. Thanks.

The throttle should be connected to the governor arm one side, and have a return spring attached to some fixed, yet adjustable point on the chassis. This might help: kzitem.info/news/bejne/1Gebz313g3WQnaQ
