Thanks ... I have watch alot of videos on different skidster. The one that don't run have to be dragged when they want to move it. Some people have said that there is a way to relieve the hydraulic to be able to move it. You are the first to show and explain how it works. Thanks for the information .

@@DurtyMaxDee Well.. No such luck for me. I pulled that T off, and it was clean as a whistle. Pulled it apart and cleaned it anyway, as well as changed the fuel filters. It runs good for the first half hour or so, but sooner or later, she falls on her face. Never really stalls completely, just struggles to get the RPM's up, and has no power. Prolly the injector pump.

@@anthonyparlin9418 Sure sounds like it. Sorry it didn't work out for you. If you decide to rebuild the fuel pump, give Area Diesel a call they may be able to help. I've heard only good things from people who have used them. Comment back let us know what the fix was... 👍

Your pump needs rebuilt. The plastic you read about shreds and goes thru the pump, it not going to get better no how many time you clean the lines. There is a kit for these pumps and probably lol you need is the plastic ring but I think it takes special tools to reassemble the pump correctly.

Your video's are very helpful. I have a 1845 Case that I just cant get much travel speed like I think it should have. Could it be the tandem pump under the seat or the drive motors. It operates as it should just not real quick
@DurtyMaxDee

Hmmm.. can you stall the wheels when pushing into large piles? That could indicate weak pumps. I know mine is not very fast but it makes up for it in the power it has, it's like a tank.

@DurtyMaxDee

There are no injection pumps on a gasoline engine, this would be specific to diesels. If you are experiencing similar problems with your gas engine I would look at the fuel system such as a clogged fuel filter or dirt in the carburetor or a clogged air filter. If that checks out ok check for vacuum leaks around the carburetor/intake or cracked/broken/disconnected vacuum lines. If that's good then I would check the ignition system (plugs/cap/rotor/coil) and timing. If that's OK I would check cylinder compression. If compression is low you're looking at an engine rebuild. Hope this helps 🙏

I don't know how much help I can offer over the net but here's a link that has all the diagrams for our machine. Click on the link and scroll down to the first drop down menu then select electrical. Then on the second drop down menu pick any of the ones listed that have (159) in the parenthesis and it will show you what goes where. From there it's just a matter of finding your problem area. Hope this helps 👍 messicks.com/cas/140810
