Would've been a flagrant 3 if there was such a thing...

Not that it matters, but not clear whether he was shooting (looked like an oop). Great call. Great process by the officials. Spot on. Text book. Only blemish is Red yelling at White going to the bench. Rather that that was eliminated.

Could the red player been hit with T’s for that?

@@2themoon863 of course he could've been hit with a T and i could almost say that even without knowing what he was yelling he probably should've been hit with a T

I agree with the call a flagrant 2. He should have been given a technical for talking or taunting after the play had ended.

Yes, he got ejected from the game. That is why he was leaving. In high school rules, there is not Flagrant 1 and Flagrant 2 fouls. A Flagrant Foul means you are ejected from the game. A Flagrant 1 in NCAA is like an Intentional Foul in high school.

So here’s a question: Since the Arkansas player #0 who committed a Flagrant-2 (ejection) was apparently talking trash as he was walking past the Kentucky huddle, can he be hit with technical foul(s) while the review is going on, and can he be ejected on T’s while a review for the flagrant-2 is going on?

At the begining of his act of shooting, he got triped, foul P and sequence, at the end he got banged pretty hard on a U foul (intentional) very close to a D foul . . .two fouls on the score sheet, two FT or count basket and one.
@1Outis1
3 жыл бұрын
So those last two steps, which would normally be a travelling call btw, are part of the act of shooting?
@gyrowave
3 жыл бұрын
@@1Outis1 I did not see travel, yes, all movements from the held ball by the shooter till his return to th floor or standing position, are act of shooting!
@1Outis1

@@gyrowave the travel is a moot point anyway because of the flagrant foul. I'm still not convinced he was shooting though, it looked more like he was passing to me. When you say held ball, does that cover what he does after he picks up his dribble?
