What I feel is worse, is when it feels like someone else took your life from you. You're still on earth as a walking, functioning, human...but the loss you feel on the inside, that no one else sees, is profound. I can’t explain how this band makes me feel, like idk if anyone else can relate to this but like listening to the band makes me feel so comfortable and like happy. His voice is so hauntingly beautiful and i have never found another singer with the same voice and style. All of there sons are beautiful and melodic which is the only way I can describe it. It’s not nostalgia because I only started listening to this band last year. It’s just an amazing feeling… anyways idk if anyone else can relate. I don’t necessarily mean this song, I’m talking about “inner strength”, “amendment”, and “out of whack”. This band and album helped me through some really tough times. Their 2nd album was great as well. I heard this song randomly around 2001 (not sure) on the radio and loved it but never knew who it was. I called the radio station trying to ask who the band was but never got a reply. 2005: just returned from Iraq and was not in a good place and one night was really drunk thinking bad things. And then all of the sudden my roommate was listening to random songs on his tv and I finally heard this song again after all these years and was able to finally know who it was. Went out and bought the CD. I turned out so many of my brothers on this band after that, they still talk about this album after all these years. Rant: I love this band.
