It's mid morning at the Fraser Point Bald Eagle nest on Santa Cruz Island, California.
Eaglet "Reign" took her first flight "fledge" off the nest at 0832 this morning!
Mama Cruz flies in at 0917 with a pile of fluff, looks around and watches off the sides of the nest.
We hear vocals from the young fledgling eagle(s) below the nest.
Cruz soon flies off the nest, likely checking on her kids.
Less then an hour later, loud young eagle vocals are heard and a fledgling flies across the view from left to right; either "Manini" or "Reign"
Shortly after, loud vocals are again heard near the nest, and the camera operator searches and finds "Reign" perched on the nest tree! She soon hops to the nest ; back home relaxing for a time.
Congratulations Rein on your beautiful fledge and return to the nest today!
A young eagle's like is full of adventures, and all is well at Fraser Point
