As a full scale V tail owner, I’ll say I’m very impressed. The plane and your piloting ability. I’d crash it in 3 seconds but I still want one to hang from the hangar ceiling!

Beautiful plane and set up! I love the way it flew on the 52 motor seems pretty hot and very nice. The Robard retracts are very quiet, that was nice. I thought that sometimes the motor/prop whistled quite a bit at full throttle, maybe normal, maybe the sound/video. Thanks a bunch Chris for all the work and sharing on your channel, your the best!

Thanks man! This airplane is a really sweet ride. There is a whistle that I’ve noticed more at partial throttle at times. Not so much full throttle I don’t think.

You obviously have a "need for speed", thus the need for down elevator trim and throttle elevator mix. At scale-appearing speed, model might not need down elevator trim, etc. You can always hold some down elevator for high speed passes.
@Thercgeek

Sure and that’s what I was doing before adding the mix, but adding the slight down elevator mix helps reduce the workload. It’s pretty noticeable through the whole throttle range.

Nice! I had my timer set at 5 minutes and I could probably fly a few minutes longer easily. The power system is really efficient.

Please send me a link of how you did a separate nose gear steering setup. If you add a y connector to rudder. It is crazy as a VTAIL it couples to elevator. thanks.

It looks like this is now out of stock wherever I look. I'd love to have a V-tail Bonanza model of any reasonable size that I could paint to resemble the 1956 full-scale that I'd flown for some 12 years. Any recommendations?
