I'm definitely a fan of the "let's fly" format. I think it's awesome. These are so much fun to watch and just chill listening to while I'm building my own birds. There's no need with real TV when there's FliteTest and a couple other channels I enjoy.

Another great episode guys! I like the "Let's Fly" concept. This reminds me of the Bat Bones episode, one of my favorites. I find myself watching these fpv proximity flying episodes over and over. Very enjoyable to watch when I can't get out and fly myself! Keep 'em coming!

Great video and love the format! The Versa was the first plane I built from scratch. I have several bought planes but the Versa simply puts a smile on my face every time I fly it. I am simply amazed that something I built actually files and flies well! Now I am going to have to build a Blunt Nose Versa! I made a battery tray on my Versa but I have never liked it. This looks like the perfect solution!

Please please please! Do more of this, I could watch 20 minutes or how ever long you could stay in the air. I would like to see three different types of aircraft, maybe do some races or one person do some loops while other ones record it. The more people in the air the better also! Really enjoyed this please make more. I have never flown FPV so watching this gives me the next best thing.

I may do my blunt nose versa with removable wings, and if I do so, it will be my first article for FT. Thanks guys! And as as suggestion, try to mount a brushless gimbal with a camera on the Versa upside down and see some magic :-D. Bet you didn't think of this:-P

***** Yeah I totally agree. This is the future, going to TV is like going backwards haha. One thing I love about Flitetest is it is relatable. I think it would loose this quality if it went to TV. Also I think it would loose the personal feel to it - We all feel part of a community watching it here.

Thanks for the new formats you flitetest guys are trying out. Joe Dockstader and don't forget there would be people trying to convince you to buy stuff you don't need every 8 mins or so. Advertising has it's place, don't get me wrong, but there doesn't need to be anything like as much as there is in this world.

Great format guys! I really like the feel of the first half. I wouldn't want half the video to be a build video though. Maybe if you want to spotlight a mod or something, have a condensed outline or highlight of the build process and make a separate build video. So as not to distract from the fun and friendliness of the lets fly format.

Unless you have a VERY sharp razor blade, those 45 degree bevel cuts are quite difficult to make. I used a brand new x-acto blade and it still wanted to chip and tear. Sandpaper is probably a better option.

You really should try installing some OrangeRX RX3S flashed with Open Flight Stabilizer. This will change your bumpy flights into on-rails ones. Its insane how much difference the opensource firmware does on the rx3s line of gyros. And at their price point there's just no reason not to have one on the plane/wing. As it makes flying in wind several times more enjoyable.

I liked the dive part of the video. It would be fun to see a dive challenge with fpv view from the diving plane. Dive toward a graphic target to give depth perception. A big bullseye or something. See who can dive under a bar set up 6' over the bullseye after a vertical dive. Maybe a time for extra padding on the gopro. ha
