🥟 Portions: Depends on the size of the buns, about 12-16 buns.
⏲️ Preparation time: 20-30 minutes
⏲️ Baking time: 20 minutes / oven preheated to 180°C.
🔶 Number of calories: around 200-250 calories
Ingredients:
🌾 500g flour for pastry
🍞 7g active dry yeast
🥛 250ml warm milk
🍬 100g of sugar
🧈 75g butter, melted and cooled
🥚 1 egg
🧂 A teaspoon of salt
🍓 Sweetness (any favorite variety)
Mayo Instructions:
🥛In a small bowl, add 7g of yeast, mix 125ml of warm milk, 2 tablespoons of flour, 1 tablespoon of sugar.
🍬 Mix well and let rest for 5-10 minutes until the yeast starts to foam.
Dough Instructions:
🥣 Add the mayo to the mixing bowl
⏲️ After the mayo has grown properly, you can start adding the other ingredients in a mixing bowl or in the bowl in which you prepared the mayo
🧈 Put in the mixing bowl, 100g of sugar, 75g of melted and cooled butter, 1 egg and a teaspoon of salt.
🥖 Gradually add 500g of pastry flour to the mixing bowl, mixing on low speed or using a wooden spatula until the ingredients are incorporated and you get a smooth dough.
👐 If you don't use a mixer, you can add the ingredients to the bowl where you prepared the mayo and mix them manually with a wooden spatula or with clean hands until you get a homogeneous dough.
🍞 After you have obtained the dough
🥣 Put the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover it with plastic wrap or a clean towel and let it rise in a warm, draft-free place for about 1-2 hours or until doubles its volume.
🍴 After the dough has risen, divide it into equal pieces and shape them into balls.
🍪 Flatten each ball of dough by hand or with a rolling pin until you get disks about 0.5 cm thick.
🍓 Place a spoonful of Chocolate in the center of each disc of dough and then wrap the dough around the jam to form pâtés.
🍽️ Place the patties on a baking tray lined with baking paper, leaving space between them to expand during baking.
🧺 Cover the spots with a clean towel and let them grow again for another 30-45 minutes.
🔥 Preheat the oven to 180°C.
🕒 After the pâtés have risen again, brush them with beaten egg and then bake them in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until golden and fluffy.
🍽️ Take them out of the oven and let them cool a little before serving.
