Been out of playing for about 6 years and this was a good refresher before I jump back in. I'm sure some things have changed the the basics are always the same. Thanks for sharing.

Selling your gate bookmarks is like inviting gankers to those spots, which defeats the purpose of those bookmarks...

Hi, this is a great vid and I enjoy most of your others too! Say can you tell me what music you are using in this one? I love this theme and I believe it is from EvE but I cannot for my life find it. Thanks heaps and keep up the good work!

Nicely done! Summarizes what I learned in my training corp. This is great information for new players and those who have managed to (so far) avoid PvP.

If you implement this with a covert ops frig it makes you virtually uncatchable. GoodJob

Tanking iterons or epithals is a bad tip. It will not help against good gankers. Other tips are good and nice especially for newer players.

Anti-ganking efforts are having an affect even though the gankers won't admit it. More are using Talos and other non-catalyst or thrasher ships lol

Thanks Marc, glad you found it helpful! Aside from benefits I've discussed in the video I've also found that Tacs are especially helpful if you're starting to get into FC-ing - just something to think about if you ever go down that path.

can you still make isk hauling?
@evemogul
9 жыл бұрын
BCheebo Hi mate, well if you're hauling your own items from one place to another to sell for a profit absolutely! However I've never done hauling for the sake of hauling to get someone else's items from point A to point B - so on that particular subject I can't accurately comment sorry. My guess is that there's still money in it as there's still hauling corps around though.

Eve Mogul Hi, well ive been watching market and it seems theres a slight profit to be made from buying low in one station and selling high in another but i dont believe its as good isk as station trading, think il have to have a better look into it but thanks a lot for reply =)

BCheebo Hi again - there's no doubt Station Trading can make big money, although bare in mind that it's extremely time intensive (that's my experience anyway, while I'm good at it I'm not the king of Station Trading though). On the flip side there's what I call Hotspot Trading which is just like we're discussing, buying low (usually from a market hub) and selling high (at the identified 'Hotspot' system). Hotspot trading is the outright king of "passive" trading and it's how I cracked 100 billion in liquid isk while going off and doing many other interesting things in Eve. Of course this process took some time, especially given I had to figure it all out from scratch, but hey I was having the time of my life growing my market empire and doing all kinds of other fun things with great people at the same time!

Great tips. Also, with the tacticals, it's also a good idea to set an insta-dock bookmark, too, as sometimes you won't go directly into docking range (0m) at the station. Instead, you may land 1 or 2 kilometers out, which is plenty of time for an instalocker to lock you up and blow up your ship along with it's expensive cargo. Also, with the capacitor deplete trick, you can warp to the next gate, and when you're closer to the gate than 14 AU, just bookmark mid-warp. A lot easier than just burning off capacitor. Great tutorial. Fly safe o7

Thanks for the tips....but I have one for you now. Please drop the microphone about 3 centimeters. It doesn't have to be right in front of your mouth.
