Your dad has HUGE HANDS!! This Lil baby is just the cutest thing!! I miss living on our property...I had a life like this.... until my folks got divorced and then everything good just went away. People like you and your family created this country. Most people wouldn't be able to last 2 days of your life... right?

That morning...we only do this for 7 to 10 days and let them loose then start again upon weaning

We did our foal work the first week of their life. And yes, you work with them even more when you wean them.

My Grandfather raised horses when I was young, and we always handled the foals. We taught them to lead and pick up their hooves, and we would rub them with a towel. It was always important to get them used to things when they're small. It makes everything easier when they weigh 800 to 1000 lbs!

We always say it pays dividends! Some of the vets who have seen these videos also said it helps them too!
