I’m sharing this one again because I think this may just be the best interaction I’ve ever captured.
This exchange goes to show just how complex horses can actually be - and how they look out for one another in their herds.
Since I originally caught this moment, I’ve completed my diploma in Equine Psychology and even after learning so much that I never knew about how horses think & how their herds dynamics work, I still believe Rudnik was pushing the other horse towards the water (or the rest of the herd, either way the specifics don’t matter)
While some say Rudnik is just being dominant and showing ‘who’s boss’, if you know anything about horses, you know that if a horse wanted to be ‘aggressive’ or ‘mean’ to show dominance, this is NOT how they’d do it.
So I apologize for the repost but I LOVE sharing about equine body language and honestly this is the best video I’ve ever gotten to perfectly display one herd mate looking out for another ♥️
Негізгі бет I was headed back to my car when I stopped to get one final look - & I’m so glad I did!
